Trivia

  • Despite having the Sinnoh theme skill, Looker is listed among Kalos characters on the sync pair story list. In addition, his mindscape is an image of the Looker Bureau, a location in Lumiose City in Kalos.
  • Looker is the only character with the Theme skill icon region.png Sinnoh theme skill to form a Poison-type sync pair.
    • Upon his release, Sinnoh became the first region in Pokémon Masters EX to have a sync pair of every type.
  • In his sync pair story, Looker is revealed to have introduced Pasio to his Looker Tickets, which he also makes the player look for in Pokémon X and Y.
  • All versions of Looker use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Dawn, Emma, Nanu, Anabel, and Malva.
    • Looker also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Dawn, Emma, Anabel, or Malva in the same team.

Origin

Looker's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Platinum. Looker uses Croagunk during the events on Stark Mountain to reclaim the Magma Stone from Charon. It is also his only known Pokémon in the Pokémon Adventures manga. Croagunk's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond.
