|A 6th generation New Jerseyan from Washington Township, John has worked across America and the world in pursuit of challenge, impact, and change. He left a job on Wall Street to lead humanitarian efforts abroad and in his own back yard. He's scaled a small business in Brooklyn, even coached pole vaulting in local high schools and supported Grammy nominated rock bands (kind of). John's spent the last ten years changing companies, and building up communities around the world. Now he is ready to take those lessons and experiences to do the same for his community.
A descendent of immigrants, veterans, factory workers, and public servants - John was raised not just to serve but to lead. He is the son of a local pastor and school nurse - born and raised in New Jersey alongside his three siblings and two dogs. He's spent time living and working in New York, California, North Carolina, London, Guatemala, and of course his hometown of Long Valley, NJ. Outside of work and family John loves live music (Springsteen, The Killers, and Jack Antonoff to name a few), running ultra marathons, and being a part of his local church.
John is running for Congress to bring a generational change to Congress, a categorical shift to the character of our leaders, and a voice for our values to D.C.
It’s time for Jersey to win again.
It’s time for a new Jersey.
- The conservative principles that built our back yards and country have yet to find a champion in this generation. Today's American voter is younger, more politically active, and unfortunately five times more liberal than conservative. If our founding values cannot be championed among the rising millennial generation - our nation's largest voting block - these values will be lost for generations.
- We can change this. But we have to stop doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. Looking to the same tried and tired political dynasties and lobbyists - career politicians who have been climbing ladders in Trenton and Washington - while leaving new jersey on the losing end. This seat, this race, is the key to flipping the house. To win, we need a compelling leader that can invigorate a new demographic of voter and represent us for years to come.
- Let's bring a generational change to Congress, a categorical shift to the character of our leaders, and a voice for our values to D.C.
Bring opportunity back to NJ - Our district pays more in tax than 99% of the country. And this - New Jersey's abysmal tax climate - is the #1 reason we are losing more citizens and businesses than any other state. Let's lower property taxes and reform the tax code to help families and businesses stay in NJ.
Better schools, brighter futures - Education is the great equalizer and has the power to move our community, state, and country forward - if we are willing to challenge the status quo, continue to train and pay world class teachers, and stand up to public sector unions.
Reform Washington - Congress is in critical need of reform to reduce corruption, educate and ignite America's youth, and diminish the power of special interests.
A new era of environmental action - The climate is changing, but the world is not ending. Let's have a serious conversation about sustainable solutions that are logical, pro-growth, bi-partisan, and put New Jersey first.
Affordable, top-notch healthcare - We need to redirect money and power over health care decisions away from Washington and return it to patients, communities, and states.
Infrastructure for New Jersey - New Jersey's failing infrastructure is not just destroying our cars and commutes, but our sanity and community. We need to prioritize the Gateway Tunnel, fix public transportation, and focus on projects that support community, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
