Delmas Hill
Delmas Carl Hill was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. He joined the court in 1961 after being nominated by President John F. Kennedy.[1] Hill died on December 2nd, 1989.
Education
Hill received his LL.B. from Washburn College in 1929.[1]

Judicial nominations and appointments
Tenth Circuit
Hill was nominated to the Tenth Circuit by President John F. Kennedy on September 14, 1961, to a new seat created by 75 Stat. 80. He was confirmed by the Senate on September 21, 1961, and received his commission on September 22nd. He assumed senior status on April 1, 1977, and served in that capacity until his death on December 2, 1989.[1]
District of Kansas
Hill received a recess appointment to the United States District Court for the District of Kansas from President Harry Truman on October 21, 1949, to a new seat created by 63 Stat. 493. He was nominated on January 5, 1950, confirmed by the Senate on March 8, 1950, and received his commission on March 9th. He served as chief judge from 1957 until leaving for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals September 28, 1961.[1] Hill was succeeded in this position by Judge Wesley Brown.
