Monroe Mark Friedman (1895-1978) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Friedman received a recess appointment from President Harry Truman on July 17, 1952, to a seat vacated by Herbert Erskine; he was nominated on January 9, 1953. His nomination was not confirmed by the Senate. Friedman was succeeded in this position by Oliver Hamlin.
