|- We need campaign finance reform.
- We need to work hard to protect our natural environment and address the global threat of climate change.
- We must make healthcare coverage affordable and accessible for every single American.
I have spent my adult life fighting for those who have been left out and disadvantaged. I've listened to many people's stories and have learned that we have much work to do - many of our systems are broken, unjust, and in desperate need of reimagining and repair. I am committed to making a difference.
I am also committed to making wise investments in our future - in our human capital, in our infrastructure, and in the next generation by striving to make this country just as fiscally responsible as our families and businesses must be.
No issue that we care about will advance easily unless our democracy is restored. This means that we must make the system work the way it was intended.
Our campaign finance system is broken and in many ways responsible for the polarization and dysfunction in our politics today. I believe that money in politics too often skews decisions toward those who have power and influence.
