Sinicki's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[14]

have authored or co-authored legislation that directly impacts the citizens of the 20th Assembly district on a number of issues.
  • Voucher School Accountability – Led to the closing of over 50 sub-par voucher schools.
  • Veterans Board Geographical Appointment – Led to the appointment of a Cudahy veteran being appointed to the Wisconsin Board of Veterans Affairs.
  • Equal Pay Enforcement Act
  • Birth Control Protection Act – Women can no longer be denied contraceptives by a pharmacist.
  • Regulation of Puppy Mills
  • Oral Chemotherapy bill – Requires insurance companies to cover oral medications for cancer patients.
  • Youth Baseball Property Tax Exemption – Granted a property tax exemption for non-profit baseball leagues serving children in the state.
  • During my time in the Assembly I was instrumental in saving the Hoan Bridge and in obtaining the funding to upgrade the railroad tracks near Kinnickinnic and Nicholson.[15]
—Christine Sinicki

2014

Sinicki's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[16]

Jobs

  • Excerpt: "No matter what Gov. Walker and his Republican allies say, $7.25 per hour is NOT a living wage. I think it’s shameful that Republicans in Wisconsin want to continue to hurt so many workers and families here in Wisconsin by continuing to oppose an increase to our state’s minimum wage. I believe our state’s minimum wage should be a living wage, because no one working a full time job should be forced to live in poverty."

Public Education

  • Excerpt: "During my time in the State Assembly, I have worked hard to ensure Wisconsin’s public education system, but never more than the past few years. Gov. Walker and Republicans in the Legislature have presided over historic cuts to funding for public education in Wisconsin, and I have fought hard to undo the damage they have done."

Veterans

  • Excerpt: "Voters and especially veterans need to know where the candidates stand on this issue. We owe a debt to our Home Front Heroes and it is our moral duty to restore justice for veterans and their families."

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Wisconsin

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states. To contribute to the list of Wisconsin scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
