FanDuel Racing - Bet on Horses 17+

Terrible

I’ve tried them all and this is literally the worst app I’ve ever used. Signs you out every 5 minutes or so, was just in the middle of a race when it said Face ID required and went to the Home Screen, they try to add little animations when you click on a horse rather than using there time for for more racking info….. pace, na that doesn’t matter

Horrible experience

TLDR: Fan Duel happily took my money before locking me out of my account (and deposited funds). Customer support could not give me access to the account.

I tried to use Fan Duel Racing to bet on horse races while on vacation in California. When I initially set up the account, everything went fine and I was allowed to deposit money from my bank account. As soon as the transaction went through, I was logged out of my account and told that I could not access my account because sports betting is illegal in my state of residence, regardless of where I was currently geographically located. That meant I had zero access to the funds I had just put in. After several weeks of attempting to get help from very unhelpful customer support, I finally just disputed the charge through my bank, since I was unable to access the agreed upon services. Fan Duel then sent my issue to a collections agency. I ended up just paying the collections agency to avoid the whole mess, so I never got my money back.

Terrible! Don't do it!

This app excludes race history to influence betting, and has several "glitches" as their support calls them, that make it impossible to use their stats. They exclude stats until after the races start and even after support acknowledging this is happening, they haven't stopped doing it and never refund wagers. One case I opened that they ignored and told me if would escalated for months was a race that had horses running in it that were not even listed in the race card and nowhere in the app. Race said 10 horses, but number 13 won. The app results on show 2nd and 3rd place. There are so many other well documented issues the gaming commission really needs to look into.
If you're going to use this app anyway, screenshot every wager, double check every race result, and the odds. Never never never trust the stats. Never once has support resolved a case even when it's straight forward. They simply ghost you, or escalate indefinitely. Basically, FD is just exploiting the industry.
