The Queensland Commitment

Opportunity for all.

We believe that education and opportunity must be available for all Queenslanders.

Launched in 2022, The Queensland Commitment is a pledge to break down barriers to education and build a brighter future for the state by 2032.

This comprehensive and ambitious initiative will deliver evidence-based strategies to build aspiration, grow pathways to higher education and support student success.

Together, we will strive for equitable access to education and deliver transformative change across the state.

The Queensland Commitment Roadmap

This roadmap features 58 strategic actions that UQ will implement to ensure more equitable access to education by 2032.

Our work aligns with the Australian Universities Accord and its vision for transformative reform in our sector.
