Packing firm Dava Foods Finland has announced the withdrawal of more batches of eggs due to a risk of salmonella contamination.
Batches with the codes 2FI634322 or 2FI634327 printed on the shells were recalled last week.
The affected products had been on sale at supermarkets operated by S Group, Kesko and Pick N Pay — and had a best-before date of either 6 March or 17 March.
The company extended the recall on Monday to include eggs with a best-before date of 7 March. This update only applies to eggs with the stamps 2FI634322 or 2FI634327 printed on the shell.
The recall affects the same three retail groups, and includes the following products:
- Kultamuna Vapaa S/M18, carton EAN barcode 6431000000808. Best before: 7.3. or 17.3.
- Kultamuna Vapaa S/M10, carton EAN barcode 6431003105302. Best before: 6.3, 7.3. or 17.3.

The company also advised customers who bought the affected products to throw them away or return them to the store where they were purchased, but noted that the affected eggs would be safe to consume after cooking.
