Lowkey I think it would be so fucking cool if that Disguse thing Tom was using in a tv spot was brought back to introduce rouge but then again I don’t think there’s enough time to dedicate her in the film so I could only see it being a post credit thing if that’s who the movie team decide to introduce

There's a specific moment where "Rouge" says her only phrase and the camera zooms out to Shadow, as if he misses his sister…

ALSO don’t forget he refers to this world as “a cruel version to make us suffer”
ALSO ALSO, don’t forget he said he got yeeted to this world after ep1!!! so he was there for however many hours sonic spent between breaking the gateway and finding the shard, AND he immediately knew where to find sonic in this ep, meaning he knew where the beach (ie: the “ghosts”) were,
If Him and Rouge don’t interact at any point in this batch of eps it’s OVER for me
A verse that is just a vampire au would actually be so great. What if there is a vampire verse next season? And it would be focused on Rouge this time. Because she's a bat. Maybe she's the only vampire. Maybe everyone is a vampire but she's like DRACULA. I'm just so hungry because Dread is the one who made me think of vampires and I'm not talking about the fangs. His outfit made me just think of vampires.
Now that I think about it, it'd be even cooler if knuckles was a vampire hunter who hunts Rouge!! So everyone would be human expect Rouge. What if the plottwist is that Knuckles actually is half-vampire!?

I like to think that Rebel and Knucks were just chilling in the walls watching as sonic tried to talk his way out of being vaporized by the chaos council
At first they were gonna wait to make a dramatic rescue entrance, but as soon as Sonic Started Talking they looked at each other and were like “oh WOW this is a train wreck. we need to see how this devolves”
Western Saloon/Town owner and richest person in town Glittering Rouge is bored out of her mind. She has all the jewels the region could offer and could buy any other that would pop. Then comes in rowdy tincans and an even rowdier duo of hedgehogs. There is a new shiny rock that she can’t buy but still Glittering WANTS IT!
Cue daring chasing scenes across ravines, gun standoffs and small bombs!
oh no. At the start of episode 3 Rouge says.
“No gem is worth loosing my wings.” now it’s likely this is just a throw away line.
BUT WHAT IF IT’S NOT!
what if we get a rouge who like Nine, Thorn and Dread and shows a version of her that’s “off” and took an aspect too far and paid the price.
I wonder what she’d even be like?
Thinking about Rouge in the shatterspaces is so interesting bc like…her outward facing persona could stay largely the same/her inclination towards espionage and thievery is intact, but her motives and inner self could be entirely different depending on the universe
Rebel Rouge who does it for survival, pirate Rouge longs for decadence and riches on the open seas, jungle Rouge is foraging for her community, etc etc
People are talking about what sonic soundtrack should be in the sequel. And that made me remember THAT song.
Fly in the freedom. Whether for the third sonic movie or something else in the SCU, I would love for that song to be included. It's Rouge's theme, but there's a softer male voice singing in the background that, although a bit hard to hear, sounds like Shadow. Especially considering the lyrics that It sings along with Rouge.
It would be a good way to point the parallels to Rouge and Shadow, for example "Fly in the freedom, Time never stop and wait for me, Looking for the answers and lookin' for the clue". These lyrics would go particularly well with their relantionship and the events in sonic adventure 2.
But there's also the lyrics that Shadow doesn't sing, that highlights the contrast in their characters, which is kind of sad since the lyrics Shadow doesn't sing are all about being free and independent.
