TOP-IX DESCRIPTION
TOP-IX (TOrino Piemonte Internet eXchange)
It is a non-profit consortium established in 2002 with the aim of creating and managing an Internet Exchange (IX) for the exchange of Internet traffic in the Northwest area.
Starting from a strong rooting in the Piedmont territory, TOP-IX operates in that global, borderless space which is the network. In addition to building and managing the network infrastructure to provide typical Internet Exchange services, it promotes and supports, through the Development Program (DP) initiated in 2006, technological innovation and/or business projects based on the use of broadband Internet.
