Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

WikiFur Data
[edit]That was a bold edit to yiff (Q3318957), kudos. 😸 Anyway, I thought I'd mention that I'm prototyping Wikibase use for furry data on WBStack (which I think is being considered for WMDE funding), a wiki farm for Wikibase led by User:Addshore. It's both for learning, and to determine what features might be useful if/when I bring Wikibase support to WikiFur to cover data unsuitable for Wikidata. So far I have a few items, properties, lexemes (since the Esperanto for "furry fandom" was being deleted from Wiktionary - maybe you have similar experiences), even a shape expression for validating convention instances.
Relatively few furries seem to be active in Wikidata, but I figured you and User:Ricky250 might be interested; if you want, I can create accounts for you, as I've done for Russian WikiFur bureaucrat EvilCat, so you can explore what might be needed to meet your furry data needs, and what the current platform lacks. - Honestly I don’t know much about Wikidata, and I don’t participate a lot in furry fandom as I seldom interact with artists and fans. I am just not sure about what I really can do on this. 🐱💬 10:25, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

- Hewo GreenReaper, well i'am a bit inexperienced when it comes to data editing. And my schedule are tight for now. It was indeed an interesting projects you got there for the Furry community, i'll see what I can do when my schedule are freer in the coming month. Software version ranks
[edit]Hi - I noticed that these edits resulted in no software version having a preferred rank. Please make sure that when updating that the latest stable release (and only that stable release) has a rank of "preferred". If multiple versions are listed as "Preferred" or "Normal", pages on Wikipedia pulling in the data, such as Bookstack and Comparison of wiki software will pull in ALL versions of this rank, which is a mess.
