The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission serves as an independent advisory board to the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. The Commission is made up of seven members who are appointed to five-year terms by the Governor of Maryland with the advice and consent of the Maryland Senate. The Commission holds monthly public meetings at Maryland Lottery and Gaming headquarters in Baltimore.
Mission Statement & Code of Conduct
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission oversees the work of the MLGCA staff, whose core mission is to generate revenue to help support the good causes of Maryland including education, public health, public safety, human resources and the environment.
