A Warp Block[1] (alternatively warp block)[2] is an object in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. It is a blue block depicting a pipe on the front. If either the adult or baby brothers are too far away from the other pair and a Warp Block is activated by one of them, a pipe appears to launch their companions out.
Warp Blocks return in Mario & Luigi: Brothership.[3] This time, they appear in many of Concordia's islands, providing access to Warp Pipes that facilitate travel throughout their respective locations. When struck, a pipe emerges from the ground, and the area map then appears to show where its corresponding end is found. After Reclusa's awakening, certain pipes summoned by Warp Blocks are unusable as they are blocked by his flowers.
