Project Build Up 2.0
Strengthen your organization’s capacity to provide and promote problem gambling treatment services. Project Build Up (PBU) provides workforce development opportunities to recruit and retain employees for outpatient substance use and gambling treatment programs.
Project Build Up (PBU) is a workforce development program for outpatient substance use and gambling treatment agencies funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (MDPH) Office of Problem Gambling Services (OPGS) and administered by Health Resources in Action (HRiA), a Boston-based non-profit organization that partners with individuals, organizations, and communities to transform the practices, policies, and systems that improve health and advance equity.

Project Build Up 2.0 Grant Funding
Up to 20 organizations will receive $50,000 over the course of two years to support workforce development, staff recruitment and retention, and marketing strategies to promote problem gambling treatment. Applications for Project Build Up 2.0 grants are not yet open.
