If I am John Mara and Steve Tisch I am giving Schoen and Daboll another shot but with an ultimatum. We are going to be picking top 3-5 regardless so if their #1 QB is not on the board, we are trading down to add much needed picks in 2025 and 2026 to this roster. I am assuming the Titans and Saints/Browns pick ahead of us and both take QBs leaving us with 3rd choice. I like Cam Ward and can get behind Sanders but would rather not roll with somebody who is a mediocre prospect like Beck or whoever else in the top 5 of the draft. Pivot to picking 2 mid round QBs post trade-down. Howard from Ohio State and Rourk from Indiana, let them compete and let Daboll prove his worth. Sign Justin Fields or some other younger vet who is in need of fresh start. If it works, great, we have our QB, if the team sucks again, we can get rid of the regime without forcing a freshly drafted top 5 QB onto a new regime.

Remainder of 2024 needs to be spent evaluating Evan Neal at RT, Hyatt as a boundary WR and what we have in Chapman/Belton/Flott and whoever else we can find on other teams PS that might intrigue us.

outside of QB 2025 draft needs to fix: DL talent pool. Safety depth, WR depth, IOL talent, EDGE depth.

I think we need to resign Ojulari Pinnock and Simmons, everyone else can go. These are at least serviceable players who are not going to break the bank. All are better as depth across the EDGE/S/LB/Slot roles.
