I am going to assume we pick behind the Titans / Browns / Raiders and both Cam Ward and Sanders are gone.

I would love to see us go all-in on former 1st rounders + a mid round toolsy QB by doing the following:

Sign Justin Fields and Trey Lance both to 1 year + option contracts for ~$5M base with incentives to get each another $15M based on playing time, mid-tier money for whoever wins the QB1 job and assuming they play all season. Draw a Rourke / Drew Allar / Will howard / Jaxton Dart - somebody who can be developed into QB1 or at least a serviceable QB2 for 3 years behind our 2026 first rounder if we suck again, but with a new regime in place.

To support the QB and offense, I would use the savings from Daniel Jones to make Trey Smith the highest paid guard in NFL history, locks in an above average OL with 5 starters in place + either Evan Neal or Elumunor as the swing OL.

Now that we are picking after QBs are gone, lets go with another DT to complete the strength of our team in the DL group. We fix the run defense and give ourselves a front 7 that is tops in the league.
