Linear Motion

As a leading supplier of U-channel and flat linear motors featuring high-efficiency magnetic circuit designs, our linear motors comprise the backbone of the world’s most highly capable direct-drive industrial manufacturing and testing applications. Available in a wide variety of sizes and force outputs, our linear motors are easy to integrate into industrial automation and machine tool applications in either moving coil or moving magnet layouts. Special high-strength permanent magnet configurations and active cooling options increase force output. The nonmagnetic forcers eliminate cogging and magnetic attraction to provide ultra-smooth motion plus position, force and speed control.

Other Motor Types

We offer a variety of brushless, frameless torque motors and framed, housed rotary motors. Our S-series direct-drive frameless motors use a slotless stator design to eliminate cogging for exceptional velocity stability and torque control, and they’re easy to integrate into stages, spindles, robots and more. Our BMS series framed rotary motors come in standard NEMA frame sizes and are also brushless and slotless, with precision bearings, a high-resolution optical encoder and integral cables with pre-wired connectors for easy installation and use.
