"I'd love to share about our experience with Olathe Christian Preschool. We joined the preschool 3 years ago when our oldest turned 4 years old. He absolutely adored Mrs. Bri. She is such a sweet teacher that genuinely shows love and affection for her students. Shewas always taking interest in him as an individual and creating curriculum that was meaningful and academically appropriate. I now have the privilege of having her as my youngest's teacher and he loves her as much or even more than my oldest. He raves about how much fun he has during centers and small group. He comes home with meaningful work that demonstrates the skill he is learning that week. As a whole, the preschool has been super accommodating to my changing school schedule offering early drop off and extended care. This has been a super huge blessing to our family as our work times have shifted. My youngest adores his afternoon teacher Ms. Addision. She is gentle and sweet with him. She does a great job with routines and ensuring that he has a productive afternoon. She greets me everyday with a smile at pickup and always has something positive to say about my child. I absolutely love the pictures that I get from her and it reminds me that he is loved and in great hands. I have been extremely satisfied with Olathe Preschool for so many reasons. The director Mrs. Sandy does such an amazing job ensuring that curriculum is age appropriate. As a former teacher, she is cognicient of what skills students need to develop before entering elementary school. She does a great job handling tricky students (which at times can be my child) and navigating ways to best meet their needs. Her experience in the classroom is definitely an assest in her leadership role. She has always been great at communicating with me and working with me during more challenging weeks with ny little one. She is so knowledgeable on developmental stages and meets children where they are at while still holding high expectations for all children. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things happening at Olathe Christian preschool, but above all, I love that my children are being taught about God. They come home singing the songs about Jesus and sharing stories about his love and goodness. This is just the icing on the cake. Their chapel time with Pastor Paul is always on their top two list. It warms my heart to know that not only are they growing academically, but they are also growing spiritually. For these reasons and so many more, I can not recommend this preschool enough. The family feel, academic excellence and biblical teachings far exceed any expectations we could ever have. I recognize that as a teacher, schools are an area that I carefully examine and Olathe Christian Preschool is where I've chosen to send my kiddos that that they can develop a firm foundation in the lives of my children. ... show more

"My child has attended First Congregational Preschool for a year. We were initially drawn to this preschool because they have integrated, interest based classrooms. In addition to being nationally accredited and having to meet the appropriate standards, thepreschool provides many extra curricular activities for the children and families to enrich their development in all areas of learning. The teachers are very knowledgeable and are able to adjust to meet the individual needs of the students and help them feel comfortable amongst their peers. My child needed a place that could meet him where he was and help him grow and First Congregational Preschool has been a wonderful, safe environment for him to achieve this. "Both of my children have been cared for here since 2014 - My son who is now in 1st grade as well as my 10 month old daughter. The care & love they have received have been as if they were her own children. She has thrown birthday parties for them, Christmas as wellas other holidays. Not a father or mothers day has went by without a gift from our children. I receive updates if one of the kids even LOOKED like they may be coming down with a cold so I was in the loop. My children have always went to school saying "its time for Ms Monica cudddddles!" and giggling. My oldest was extremely challenging due to ADHD and she was always patient, caring and worked with me to find the best solutions to work with him as he got older and graduated out of her care and into school . Prior to meeting her my son was in a large daycare facility which was fine but she instantly made it feel like home with her. I truly cannot say enough good things.... show more

"We have been a Graton Community Preschool family for both of our two children. We love the program because it is play-based with a lot of outdoor play, the teachers are patient and nurturing with our children, they have always been very accommodating with specificneeds we have (ex dietary, etc) and both of our kids have always been happy to go to school there. There was a brief pause between when our daughter finished the program and when our son was ready to start. We wanted to do our due diligence for our son so we looked around at other programs again to make sure GCP was a good fit and ultimately circled back around and decided to keep him there as well because we felt like we were getting the personalized experience we were after. "I absolutely love this center . They have a made me and son so welcomed being that I’m a first time mom it was very hard for me . They keep me updated throughout the day on his daily routines which I love the most and also sends pictures and videos . They also doactivities with the infants and include them in events such as spirit week , they never leave them out . So thankful for them ... show more

"We absolutely adore New Horizon Academy. The staff are kind, patient, friendly, and fun, and we know they are providing excellent care to our little one. We especially love to see the pictures they take of her adventures throughout the day and appreciate that sheis also learning so much from the creative activities her teachers devise. Ms. Carrie, the director, is beloved by all of the kids (they will quite literally run to her!) and our child adores all of her toddler room teachers too. Would definitely recommend!... show more

"Both our kids have been here from the start of their schooling. The facility is clean and organized, I used to be a Montessori teacher so that it really important for me. What I love the most, is that the teacher goes above and beyond to make each child feelcomfortable in that space. "Ms. Wendy at the front desk is always helpful and kind. The daycare is always locked and secure, you must be buzzed in for entry. They use an electronic system for check in and out that makes it very simple. It will alert your phone for each check in or out so youare notified when someone drops off or picks up. Communication or questions can also be sent thru the app. The teachers are always happy and friendly. They greet the kids every day with smiles. Facility is always clean and smells nice. "We're a military family in Hawaii temporarily and attending Joyful Montessori with Ms Kim. My two children (3 and 2) love their teacher and their school! "Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Suree are two of the most kind people we’ve met!! We enrolled our son first (3 at the time) and he loved going there and having Mrs. Dona as his teacher. We noticed he learned so much with her, you can tell the teachers care for the wellbeing ofthe kiddos and that was so nice to see. We then enrolled our younger daughter at 18 months, it was very nerve wrecking for me because she was younger but Mrs. Kim was so nice and sent me photos and updates the first couple of days as she adjusted. She just turned 2 and we can definitely tell she’s been learning so much, we love getting her slip when we pick her up and they let us know what she participated in that day and what she learned. She walks herself inside the school and doesn’t even turn to say goodbye, that tells me she is ready to have a lovely day at JCCP! 🥰 We feel so happy that we found JCCP and that our kiddos are in good hands with them! "Our son is 9 now and has been a part of this family since 2 years old. He has been with Ms. Mel for years now and if your child is lucky enough to have her you know just how special she is. From Ms. Rhonda getting him on his first pre-k bus (and calming our tears-forever grateful), Aimee driving to our house during COVID to make sure he got a pre-k graduation celebration (we all celebrated him together), to all his teachers learning sign for him until we ALL celebrated him going from non-verbal to his first word at 3.5, to his first sentence at 4.5 to helping him thrive and working with us to set him up for success. They are involved inside and outside of daycare; they help us advocate for Autism and our son. They check in on him throughout the school year, we drive 25 minutes 3 cities away so he can go during the summer and off school days. That's how great they are, I tell every single parent who asks for a recommendation I will only give ONE. I could list so many amazing things they partner on potty training, cot training, fine motor skills, reading, and so much more. Our son ages out soon but I know his teachers will be on his journey with him his entire life not just now. I will never forget the day we toured in tears and defeated from our past daycare experiences. We knew instantly this was home, our son would be loved, and he would thrive, and HE HAS. "When returning to work after having my daughter I was looking for a daycare option in the community that would be a good fit. I was a first time mom and was very cautious in where I was going to send my baby girl. When I met Laura, my fears were placed at ease. Shehas small group ratios, lots of childcare experience, and is very organized with her program's curriculum. You can tell she loves what she does and my child loved her daycare. My daughter went to Laura's daycare for over three years and I could rest assured that she was well cared for, well supervised, and having a great time playing and learning. "We were looking for another preschool/daycare that would match our level of structure, training, and educational focus. Even though our LO just turned 12 months, we saw early on that she would need a great deal of educational stimulation & not just play (becauseof the work we started with her at home). From her first day at The Secret Garden she was exposed to reading & hands-on activities. Her day is structured (includes creative play time as well) which is a huge plus for us. We believe what she will have learned here by the time she reaches primary school, to include the social interactions & discipline in her schedule, she will have a great transition into primary school. We were so thankful to have found The Secret Garden Preschool..not many people can say that their 1 yr. old is working on puzzles, learning sounds & to sound out the alphabet, recognizing letters and words at 1! Our LO was been saying a few words since she was about 6 months (beyond the normal hi/bye/mom/daddy/etc.) but she is now using a lot more words and we attribute this to the work we do with her at home but also the lessons she is learning at The Secret Garden.
