"As a parent, sometimes it's hard to hear that your child did not have a great day. You ask yourself why. Was it really bad what they did? Was it just my child? How was it handled in the classroom? Did the teachers do everything to help the problem/situation? Thetime that my children spent here was positive. I think we all have to take a few steps back and assess the situations that we find ourselves in. Nobody is perfect. We have to remember that our children are also not perfect..even as much as we like to think they are. We all make mistakes. Instead of attacking and insulting others who are sincerely trying to do their absolute best, we should look inside ourselves..brush that negativity out. We wouldn't want our children to lose out on these special times. We wouldn't want to leave our child out of any party or event just because we did not like how a child spoke to our own child and how we couldn't handle ourselves in the appropriate manner. Let's all try to do better. Daycares tend to have a high turnover rate. Maybe look into the owners and management for this reason. Let's check to see if they are treating their employees well. Sometimes it is the employees and they need to move on to greener pastures. After all, they are the ones who spend the most time with our children during the week. We want our little ones to have all the love that we cannot give to them in those hours.... show more

"I heard about Ms. Jackie from my husband's friends (as he went to Mahwah High School). My first son went to Ms. Jackie at about 6 mos old, as I had to return to work. Ms. Jackie has the PERFECT set up for kids of all ages and responds to ALL their needs. Thebackyard is PERFECT, fenced in, swings, sand, slides, everything a child could want or need. She is sooo accommodating to the parents and children - I don't know how she does it. She teaches the kids about letters, numbers, shapes, manners, sharing, kindness. The kids all have a routine and I thank her for that so much. I then sent my 2nd son to be cared for by Ms. Jackie 2 years later and then my third boy12 mos later. I was amazed and relieved that Ms. Jackie was going to take my 3rd child - 3 of my boys - ages 3, 1 and an infant. Now by oldest is entering 2nd grade, and my 2nd boy is going to kindergarten. My boys still ask all the time about Ms. Jackie. She treated the children like her own and I felt I had a new friend/confidant and used Ms. Jackie as a resource for all my questions. She is amazing and we miss her so much!... show more

"My son has been going there since he was 9 months old and they have treated him as if he was their own from day one. They are very loving caregivers who look out for my son and his best interest as far as development, health and receiving the best loving care. Ican go to work in NYC with peace of mind that he is in great hands (and that means everything to me being a first-time mom). The center is the cleanest I have ever seen, and I visited several before thankfully finding Princeton. They have several rooms for the children to play, explore, and learn in with every tool imaginable to help them reach each milestone. "Finding Rosa was a savior for our son! He loves being there and being with other kids his age. Rosa provides balanced and nutritious meals and offers a lot of variety that have really opened him up to eating newer things. Her outdoor space is also great andthere's lots of great activities that she offers the kids daily to keep them busy and enrich their learning and creativity. "I have tried couple of daycares around the neighborhood and i can say that this place is the best pre-school a parent could imagine. I can see my son learn different things every other day. The teachers are very professional and you can see that they love the kidsand they take care of every child's need. Also my son has lots of fun he doesn't want to go home and ask if he could stay longer every single day. He loves the gym class, they have a beautiful huge gym which was newly renovated. "My daughter was 3 years old when she started at The Ivy School. Before then she had a nanny and I was concerned about her transition into preschool. It took a while for me to find a place where I knew she would be comfortable. All of the staff and lead teacher atThe Ivy School were supportive throughout her transition and now she wakes up and asks to go to her school. Attending preschool was a transition for both of us. I receive daily updates that include videos and pictures, which help me feel like I'm in touch with her all day. Through the updates I also know what she's working on daily and weekly, so that I can continue practicing concepts at home. The school is very clean and I do not deal with the nightmare of her being sick because of school.
