What is the Big Ten Network
  • A joint venture between the Big Ten Conference and Fox Corporation, Big Ten Network was established in 2007 and is the first internationally distributed network dedicated to covering one of the premier collegiate conferences in the country. Big Ten Network is on the air 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. The network nationally televises more than 600 events and streams approximately 2,500 more events each year. 
 
Where can I watch the Big Ten Network?
  • Visit BTN’s channel finder to locate your channel number for the Big Ten Network. BTN’s linear network is carried by all the major video distributors across the United States and Canada, such as Astound Broadband, Cox Contour TV, DIRECTV, DISH, fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Mediacom, Optimum, Spectrum, Verizon Fios, YouTube TV and many more across North America.  If you do not have a live pay TV provider, you can find one in your area by visiting btn.com/gowatch.

Big Ten Network Alternate Channels
  • Big Ten Network uses Extra Football Game Channels to televise Big Ten Network football games occurring at the same time. These Extra Football Game Channels are only available on Saturdays during the football season. Big Ten Network has offered all of its TV providers the opportunity to make these Extra Football Game Channels available to their subscribers. Channel numbers typically are assigned mid-week for that weekend's games. Check your channel number here for the game you want to watch.
 
What can I watch on the Big Ten Network?
  • Across BTN and B1G+, the network produced over 2,300 live events in 2023 across 20+ sports. Each year's schedule includes approximately 44+ football games, 155+ regular season men's basketball games, 55+ women's basketball games, hundreds of additional Olympic sports events and dozens of Big Ten championship events.
  • B1G Today is BTN’s daily studio show focused on all schools and all sports with interview opportunities for coaches and student athletes. The B1G Show is a nightly recap show that focuses on the action of each day with highlights and expert analysis. Additionally, BTN features an array of sport-specific studio shows which air August-May.
  • BTN has developed 10 multiplatform storytelling franchises to cover the Big Ten Conference. Those include the Emmy-nominated The Journey, The B1G Story, The B1G Moment, The B1G Trip, B1G Trailblazers, On The Mat (wrestling), At The Net (volleyball), On The Ice (hockey), On The Court (WBB) and At The Plate (baseball + softball).
 
Can I stream the Big Ten Network?
  • Big Ten Network can be streamed live on the FOX Sports App, using your pay TV provider’s credentials to access live games and on-demand programming via the web, smartphones, and tablets. In order to watch live streaming of televised games airing on Big Ten Network, FOX, or FS1 visit www.FoxSports.com or download the Fox Sports app.
  • B1G+ (Big Ten Plus), the Big Ten Network’s subscription streaming platform, offers access to nearly 2,500 events annually, including next day on-demand game replays of every Big Ten game, school-specific channels programmed 24 hours a day and access to BTN's library of previous season classics and original programming.
 
How do I sign up for B1G+?
  • B1G+ subscriptions can be purchased directly at https://www.bigtenplus.com. Fans can subscribe to B1G+ with an annual pass ($89.99 per year) or a monthly pass ($12.99).
  • B1G+ subscriptions can also be purchased via in-app purchase in B1G+ apps on third-party platforms (including Apple iTunes, and Google Play).
  • Students, faculty and staff receive complimentary B1G+ access when on school Wi-Fi on web/ mobile.

Commitment to Women’s Sports
  • Across both televised and streamed events, more than 50% of the Big Ten Network's live event schedule feature women's sports. BTN annually produces more than 900 women's events and is the television home for Big Ten Conference women's basketball and volleyball. During the academic year, the network also produces and airs the B1G Women's Sports Report, a program dedicated exclusively to the highlights and accomplishments of female Big Ten student-athletes.
