Multiverse is a huge light sculpture that was created by Leo Villareal and is stationed in the Concourse Walkway of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC until November, 2009. The installation utilizes 41,000 LED nodes and runs through the entire 200 foot long space!

Brainforest
Booooooom.com has made a fantastic post about this piece of art by Gerda Steiner and Jorg Lenzlinger named "Brainforest". The photos are incredible and though I've only included a couple in this post I can assure you that I had a very difficult time choosing just one or two.
