Wow, this amazing skeleton cycle is called "Bio-Cycle" and it was made by the sculptor, Jud Turner. I can't commit to just a couple of words to describe it but it's just so awesome/creepy/detailed/nightmarish. I think I want one.

The Creep effect on this shelf and table by Susan Bradley is a really creative way of making the surface "pop" by using cutaway floral patterns that appear to grow out from the rigid form.

This Tornado Dress by subTela has a beautiful stormy scene printed on it complete with a wicked funnel cloud but that's not the only thing that makes this dress great! This dress has been embroidered with conductive threads and LEDs that flash and simulate lightning effects.

The Class Seating Collection was created by Luciano Marcato for Fornasetti and I think it's absolutely stunning. The collection includes chairs, armchairs and benches and they feature designs with beautiful, playful and classic feminine faces like the ones below!

The Whirl Collection by Kim Westad Ceramics is a selection of hand thrown porcelain serving platters and bowls that feature a whirl or swirl in the center. They look like delicate seashells to me and many of them are perfect for serving crackers and dip or salsa and tortilla chips in a beautiful and unique way.

This Russian Doll Pepper Grinder is beautifully formed and painted in bright, warm orange and red tones. I've always adored matryoshka and babushka dolls and having an adorable and sweet matryoshka doll in my kitchen to add a little spice to my life would certainly brighten my day.

This RabMixer by Ming Tong would be a great way to bring some "cute" into your kitchen in a nontraditional way. If I had to compare the attributes that I value in a mixer to those of any animal I have to say that the rabbit matches up well. They can be pretty fast (when they need to be), they can be pretty hyper (or at least they're usually depicted that way in cartoons) and physically this mixer matches the look of a rabbit with the body shape and handle-ears. Very nice!

You know how sometimes when you see something fuzzy you get this irresistible urge to touch that object? These moss pencils from designboom are doing that to me right now. I wonder if sharpening these things would be difficult?

This illuminating Bubble Chair by Rousseau and INSA is so beautiful. I love the shape of it and the INSA print that's engraved into its surface is really stunning.

At last they've made a knife block for the brokenhearted. Wait, I'm not sure giving those with freshly broken hearts sharp objects is a particularly good idea...but this design is still great. It's perfect for people with a slightly morbid sense of humor and a use for more knives.
It might fit in well with the throwing knife wall hooks.

This piece of art/potential vase is called Eemeli and it was designed by Lincoln Kayiwa. I really love the design of it and I like that it has a function beyond just looking beautiful if you want it to have one. You might even think of more things to do with your Eemeli!
