Walter Reed Gusciora (born March 27, 1960) is an American Democratic Party politician who has served as the mayor of Trenton, New Jersey since 2018. He previously served from 1996 to 2018 in the New Jersey General Assembly, where he represented the 15th Legislative District. Gusciora is a civil rights leader whose landmark achievements related to environmental policy, criminal justice reform, and health policy have changed the political landscape in New Jersey; he led the fight for marriage equality, legalizing medical marijuana, recycling electronics, and banning smoking indoors in New Jersey.
