doug flynn was traded from the mets to the rangers in december of 1981 for jim kern. here is his 1982 o-pee-chee card:

he played for the rangers until august, when the expos purchased his contract for $40,000. during his short time in texas, flynn hit .211 in 88 games with no home runs and 19 rbi. he played in 58 games for the 1982 expos, and virtually matched his texas output despite playing in 30 fewer games. he scored 13 runs for both clubs, and also had 6 doubles, 2 triples, 0 homers, and 4 walks for each team. just to be different, he had one more rbi (20) in montreal than he had had in texas.
