  • Holotype: ?MRSN. [lost]
  • Neotype: NHMB 1007564, ♂, skin and skull, collected by A. Ghidini on 25 December 1911.
  • Type locality: “senza certezza di patria”, designated to “Porlezza, Luganer See (Italien)” by Lehmann (1963: 183).
  • Paratype: NHMB 1007492, ♀, skin and skull, collected by A. Ghidini on 12 April 1909.
