I just made an account to thank you or the team.
People complaining about it breaking their usb keyboards, mouse etc etc.
You guys are freaking idiots.
You only have to specify which is the bluetooth device and which one is the controller.
It works on my knockoff DS3 and it tells me so that it is knockoff lol.

Error Code 10 failed to start on my bluetooth upon uninstall. 2 out of the 3 versions i have tried have caused major problems in bluetooth upon uninstall. This seeems like a kink that should have been ironed out long before being available for download.

GOOD JOB!

Hello! Great program, I really liked it, cool! as a student, I also use the services of ht tps://homeworkplanner.ai/ These guys really help with planning homework, and I really like their work. The service simplifies the organization of study tasks and helps to better manage time, especially when there is so little of it.

It worked really well for what it was/is but as the page/description says it is now deprecated. It can still be used but most likely the newer project (vigem DsHidMini) by the same creator(s) should be used instead (which should imo be stated in the description here, as it is done on GitHub, to reduce the frustration people seem to have with this tool in the reviews).

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS! It will f!@#up all of your drivers, like mouse, keyboard etc. You'll have to recover your PC to fix it. Idk what happened with this app, i used it for a long time for PS3 controller to play games, but suddenly, it gone CRAZY!

NEVER should've installed this. It overwrites your connected usb devices if you put on all the options, without even warning you first. Made me unable to use my mouse, forced me to go buy a new mouse just to erase all traces of ScpToolKit. I hope you change this mess or rest in the abyss.

Why on earth is there a daily popup telling me that the software is up to date?

This project broke my bluetooth drivers on my hp computer!
-
It works perfectly! i first install the driver. Then i connect the ps3 controller. Then i run the specific driver installation (in my case i only selected dualshock 3). And that's it! Thank you for this!

I was looking for an application which would allow me to use my ps3 remote with my pc and I stumbled upon Scptoolkit and I must say it works very smoothl. It's quite easy is to use, just install the controller driver and your done,I am now using my ps3 remote on my pc thanks to ScpToolkit

After downloading ScpToolkit, my laptop's keyboard does not work anymore. I tried to reset my lap and a lot of different solutions, so now I have to get a new keyboard which is going to cost me over 400 dollars.

Worked great for me

It worked, but mouse didnt work after using it

OK and easy software to get your dualshock controllers working on windows. Sound effects could be more quiet so it wont make the user s*** their pants after adjusting main system volume.

An invaluable tool that I use daily to test PS3 controllers. Lots of people complaining about how it overwrites bluetooth drivers because they didn't read with the install wizard told them. It's pretty clear about the fact that the receiver will be sacrificed. Anyway, great all around tool. I haven't tried the wireless driver yet as I don't have a bluetooth receiver to sacrifice but I imagine it'll work just as well as the wired version.

Breaks Bluetooth Drivers. While the initial installation did allow me to use the controller wirelessly and seemed to be functional. When I tried pairing my headset to my computer for audio, I discovered that the Intel Bluetooth driver had been disabled and had been completely removed from the Device Manager. Going through every troubleshooting idea that Microsoft had to offer would not fix it. The only solution was to use the ScpToolkit driver installer to uninstall the drivers (you have to select the same options as when you installed it for the uninstaller to work) and to reinstall the Intel driver. I've tried installing ScpToolkit without the Bluetooth drivers and it just wouldn't work. I guess this program is fine if you use your computer exclusively for gaming and don't have other Bluetooth peripherals.... otherwise, expect this to break your Bluetooth.

This is an excellent ps3/ps4 controller for computers. In my opinion, it is the best available since it doesn't read advertis****ts from web pages (which could contain malware) like certain other playstation controller software. This software has always worked perfectly for me -- although I had a lot of trouble getting this software to work until I read how to allow windows to use unsigned drivers. This software handles most of what my ps3 controller can do, it is missing tilt detection though. The author of this software stated: Gyroscole and accelerometer aren't implemented yet.

The drivers work exceptionally good. The installation interface is NOT very intuitive, but after you get a grasp of it, BAM! I'm playing with two ps3 controllers via bluetooth as smoothly as if they were native pc controllers.

I created an account just to write this and hopefully help out some people that had their usb devices/drivers corrupted as a result. When I downloaded this and started installing drivers for my ps3 controller, for whatever reason my wifi dongle and bluetooth dongle suddenly both started not to work. Unplugged it and plugged it back in, nothing. Restarted computer also did nothing. SOLUTION: go to device manager, under your usb device that is not working uninstall the device. If you are prompted, also uninstall any drivers that are associated with it. Replug your usb back in and it should automatically install the correct drivers. This program was pretty cool because its the only one that allowed me to use my ps3 controller without motion joy, but its not worth corrupting/borking other devices.

it is a bit tricky to get well installed, not for too noobs, i mean, you have to know which BT and Controller are you chosing, it is a driver wrapper so dont press all "ok's" you saw, if you do that and got wireless mouse or keyboard, you'll be toasted, the driver will be installed as "Xbox reciever" and you have to reboot on "safe mode", just be prudent and carefull with this program Also i want to say, in PS3 controllers works fantastic, even with the pressure thing for PCSX2, BUT it does not work the gyro (in motioninjoy it has everything) and for PS4 controllers did almost have no support, no touchpad or button, no speaker, no audiojack, no led support, the D-Pad sometimes just dont respond, but it works well........well an Xbox controller did not have all of those features anyway

love this driver, almost works perfectly. simple and easy set up and all my games I play which I need a controller for (e.g. all driving games) connect and work seamlessly. The only Problem I have with this is that it crashes my computer, so I would like to talk directly to the creators of SCPTOOLKIT and share with them my issues. I will copy and paste my computers event so they can see if they read this as I doubt they will ever get back to me.. But if they were to fix this slightly huge issue for me it will be my go to driver. event viewer readout: Faulting application name: ScpServer.exe, version: 1.2.0.160, time stamp: 0x53217595 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.16299.15, time stamp: 0x4736733c Exception code: 0xe0434352 Fault offset: 0x0000000000013fb8 Faulting process ID: 0x2104 Faulting application start time: 0x01d3dff6c19fe76b Faulting application path: C:\Users\Archie\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ScpServer.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll Report ID: 49a51606-bafb-4bb7-af77-77df4bcbee52 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: and .NET Viewer readout: Application: ScpServer.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. best PS3 driver.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!!! I was just trying to get my PS4 controller to work on my computer and saw this suggested. Got it up and running only to be met by a confusing user interface. Checked a few boxes and hit the button to install and suddenly neither my mouse nor my keyboard work. After about half an hour of fiddling around with restarting and switching usb slots and trying different things to disable it in safe mode I finally get control back. I am absolutely flabbergasted that someone would code a piece of software that messes with device drivers in such a flippant way and with such poor information or warnings beforehand about the very real possibility that you will overwrite your mouse and keyboard drivers in the process. It's simple in retrospect, but I guarantee there are lots of people out there that would have this happen to them and then have to go shell out money to have someone fix it because it's just so easy to mess up and end up having no way to interact with their computer. Even if they were to switch the ports around and restart, for example, the program reasserts itself and tries to overwrite the devices in those new ports. The fact that I had to carefully work around the program and its drivers in safe mode just to free myself from its grasp is simply inexcusable. Here's a tip for the developer: spend less time making your ui look sleek and modern and more time thinking about how to make your overall program usable and non-invasive.

Great, as long as you can follow directions when installing. Heed the warning when the program tells you what the Bluetooth drivers do.
