Pros: APS and Always Best Care work together to make sure our employees are taken care of. Our administrative staff loves working with the APS interface and software and their customer service is outstanding!
Cons: The pricing is fair, and as always - you get what you pay for. So even though there are cheaper options out there, I will stay with APS!
Overall: Since 2019 - Outstanding. They worked with us during Covid and trying to keep up with all the reports and regulations.

Pros: The team is very responsive to questions.
The time keeping is easy for employees.
The videos and articles about APS system and use is very informative.Cons: From our experience when you terminate and employee from APS you have to make sure you have paid them their last pay. Termination kicks them out of payroll.
Overall: Very positive. We have now used APS for a number of years and have been happy with how it fits our organization.

Pros: When we searched for an HRIS for our medical specialty practice, we needed something that was user-friendly, handled payroll, recruitment, HR basics and timekeeping. Many others had this and a lot more--some too much. APS was the perfect fit. A very user-friendly interface for staff and HR/Payroll team. Pleasing layout with a very logical flow. Customer service has been top-notch and very responsive to our needs. I mostly love the support team approach which gives me a more personal experience when issues arise. They are up to date on all HR related topics and even proactive with solutions and upgrades.
Cons: There isn't much I don't like--if I had to point one out is the fact that for salaried individuals, once you activate their HR record and input the salary, it will pay them on the next payroll run, even if their start date has not been reached. I circumvent this by leaving the salary blank until the payroll it's supposed to start in.
Overall: It have been a lifesaver for me as an HR manager--tracking items and reporting features are great. Timekeeping module is very user friendly and thorough. Support team has been excellent!

Pros: The customer service team is phenomenal—kind, considerate, thorough, knowledgeable, and possesses incredible follow-up and follow-through.
They are constantly innovating intuitive solutions based on the end users' experience.
Employee experience is exceptionally user-friendly. It's so easy!Cons: The number of articles given when I submit a help ticket. Small annoyance.
Overall: We have been with two other providers over the last 20 years. APS is far superior to anything we've experienced thus far.

Pros: I like that it is an all-in-one solution for payroll, HR, benefits, and onboarding. This system has a ton of capability and is very customizable.
Cons: Everything is very manual, with not much in terms of automated flows. A lot of changes have to be made individually for each employee rather than group actions.
Overall: Overall, I am happy with the system. It has been a learning curve, because things aren't always super intuitive, but it can do everything I need it to do.

Pros: The APS team is very responsive to any questions. They have made switching from QB easy. When we did have issues with our PTO accrual, they quickly hopped on it and got it fixed hastily. They are great for our small team!
Cons: Our PTO accruals were not set up properly at first.

Pros: The tech support from our APS team is nothing short of exceptional! Resources are shared in a prompt and clear manner on both the benefits and the HR side.
Cons: The only con related to customer service would be the fact that we are on Pacific team and the team appears to be eastern standard.
Overall: Our support team responds with clarification, suggestions, screenshots and tips within minutes of my asking a question.

Pros: Fast responses. Knowledgeable tech support personnel. Rarely have to wait on hold when calling. Staff is great!
Cons: I would prefer to receive emails telling us what is updating with the automatic updates.
Overall: I am happy with it! Have no plans on changing and will recommend to anyone looking to change payroll systems.

Pros: APS is easy to learn and use. I have used many payroll systems in the past, and APS is by far the best. Our employees love the self-serve feature.
Cons: APS does not integrate with our ERP system.

Pros: Great ease of use. OSHA tracking is wonderful. Great communication platforms for forms. Time clock is great and easy to use. A personal team for support after set up is excellent.
Cons: Difficult to get data needed for hours, benefit calculation was difficult to understand and implement.
Overall: A bumpy start but good follow up. They have taken great care in ensuring we are happy with our services. The small team that is assigned to our office is a great value. The answer quickly and you can actually get them on the phone for more immediate matters and send emails for those that can wait the day or two.

Pros: As a bookkeeper I judge a payroll company by its customer service and its reporting. APS succeeds at these levels.
Cons: Has everything I need consistently in the same place and easy to retrieve.

Pros: APS is has a user friendly portal, if you ever have a question, their customer service team gets back to you quickly. Having all my HRIS needs in one place makes APS well worth it. The time APS takes in training to make sure you are comfortable running your payroll is amazing. The app is also very user friendly.
Cons: Didn't really get an introduction to the app and the features. But it was easy to figure out.
Overall: Overall, APS has been awesome. Knowing that I can reach out if i have a question is super helpful. Being able to post my job openings, and go through the entire hiring process with the click of a mouse frees up my time and allows me to work on other projects. Highly recommend APS!

Pros: Easy to use. It connects time off well. It is easy to look and see what you need to see for each employee. It is a great system for our church as we grow in staff.
Cons: I really do not have any. My finance team loves it. Their has become so smooth.
Overall: We have used APS Payroll for a few years now. The system is not perfect, but it has been great for us. Any time we have questions there is always someone to help. The training is great. As we grow it grows with us.

Pros: Excellent transition process from previous provider.
Straightforward integration with our accounting software (easy to setup and make changes).
Employee Notifications emails are extremely helpful,
Dedicated support team instead of a random 800 number.Cons: Reports took the longest to master. Report builder is a little confusing at first.
Overall: We have found a true partner in APS. Our previous provider left us to our own accord. With APS, they took the time to ensure we had a good foundation. Since go live, we have had a few minor issues, but APS was quick to respond and offer a workable solution. We are employees in 10+ states and appreciate we have found our partner to cover all of our operations.

Pros: I love APS payroll. They make my job easy. I can add & terminate employees with ease. The website is very user friendly. I also love if I have a problem that someone is here to help me out. They usually always answer the phone but on the off chance they don't - I get a call back right away. Did I say, "How much I love APS??"
Cons: I don't have any draw backs from APS payroll. They are an incredible company.
Overall: My overall experience has been amazing. APS payroll is easier to use & the staff is very helpful. I don't usually have to call them but its nice to know I can if I need them.

Pros: I love the reports and the ease of fixing things when my employees forget to clock in. I love the ability to setup holidays and the ease of seeing everything that payroll has to offer. I love the direct deposit options that are available. The customer service is great and they are always very prompt and helpful
Cons: I do have a little trouble finding things the with the amount of detail that I would like, but usually once I reach out for help I find everything that I need.
Overall: It has been such a huge help as far as taking a load off of my activities and my daily duties, as well as the monthly and quarterly duties as well.

Pros: During the years of Covid, ERC and Government reporting, the ease of pulling helpful reports has been terrific. Payroll is easy and onboarding has improved a great deal. For Ease of Use I give a 5 star review, and would recommend.
Cons: Much if not all of the training is passive, via videos and bulletins. Although an adventuresome soul would find this 100 % helpful, it does not help those employees who require one on one training as much. I often have to send the instructions or path to videos for those GM's unable to find the path through searching online. It takes some time to train, but once you have a basic understanding, the program is easy to navigate.
Overall: APS does have all the product you need for maintaining a small business payroll department. The reporting meets all needs. APS takes care of the Federal and State reporting and payments on our behalf. Hiring is integrated with Indeed and onboarding is seamless from job creation to start date. If you do HR inhouse the tools are there to use. I especially appreciate the email or text communication features. I use it often to communicate with employees on a one to one level.

Usability of the website.
Access to help once you've completed the onboarding process.Cons: As far as I am concerned, there are no cons to APS!
Overall: The entire process from beginning to running payroll on my own was seamless. From the sales people to the implementation process to the training sessions to actually running payroll, I felt supported. I was 100% set up for success. Once I was handed off to the regular support team, I have continued to get immediate help to questions that I have had. I love the fact that I can call or email and receive a response either immediately or within a couple hours.

- Addresses most functions from hiring, onboarding, payroll, taxes, and benefit administrationCons: - The system can be costly if your labor force is made up of part-time employees since its billed a fee per employee.
Overall: I have enjoyed the system, and it has helped us cut down on process times and paperwork. Needs more integrations with major providers of other services like Quickbooks at no additional cost.
