Make sure you aren't doing either of these under the bot as no one can see you are doing them so can't object to the deletions. Make sure you are strictly sticking to the task you were approved for which was adding categories etc. I realize they are related but this is something that really needs to show up in RC. -DJSasso (talk) 00:49, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks for the reminder. I will be more careful. --Auntof6Bot (talk) 00:50, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is new...

[change source]

...usually people who's usernames end in a number would have their bot account be "AuntofBot6"--why'd you choose this name? Not saying you made the wrong choice, just curious. Krett12 (talk) 00:21, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't seen people do it the way you describe. I just put "Bot" on the end of my user name. --Auntof6 (talk) 01:12, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of Template:Infobox military conflict/doc

[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Template:Infobox military conflict/doc, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2016/Template:Infobox military conflict/doc and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. May I take help from this

[change source]

@Auntof6: Hello aunt! I don't know what kind of thing a bot is! Is bot a thing which a person can ask for help (using it) to its owner (you)? In fact, I want some exhaustive 154 articles of the 154 sonnets of Shakespeare (written in Meitei wikipedia) to be connected to Wikidata. If I am to do all by manually, it would take too much time. Could your bot help me? Haoreima (talk) 14:37, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Haoreima: Wikipedia:Bots explains what a bot is. Bot accounts are authorized only for specific functions. My bot account isn't authorized for anything like this, and it also isn't authorized on either Wikidata or Meitei Wikipedia, so it couldn't help. I'm not familiar with any ways to automate connecting pages on Wikidata. I suggest asking on either Simple talk, Meitei Wikipedia, or Wikidata. -- Auntof6 (talk) 17:54, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What is this?

[change source]

Auntof6 May I know what is this: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/8096961 ? Haoreima (talk) 14:21, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Haoreima: I was using named references to combine duplicate references. See Wikipedia:NAMEDREFS for information about that. -- Auntof6 (talk) 15:43, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
