The San Antonio Spurs are an American professional basketball team in the National Basketball Association (NBA) in San Antonio, Texas. They began playing in the NBA in 1976. They play their home game at the AT&T Center. They are currently coached by Gregg Popovich. They made six Finals appearances and won five NBA Championships in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014 respectively.
Notable players for the Spurs are Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginóbili, David Robinson, Kawhi Leonard, Victor Wembanyama, George Gervin, Sean Elliott, Robert Horry, Bruce Bowen, Boris Diaw, Patty Millis, Tiago Splitter, and LaMarcus Alridge.
