Kathleen Freeman (February 17, 1919 – August 23, 2001) was an American actress. She was known for playing the role of maids and secretaries in many comedies, especially directed by Jerry Lewis.[1] She was in 11 comedies directed by Lewis in the 1950s and '60s. She also appeared in The Blues Brothers (1980) and Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994).

A lesbian, Freeman was in a partnership with Helen Ramsey until her death.[2]

Freeman died on August 23, 2001 at a New York City hospital from lung cancer, aged 78.[1]
