János Göröcs (8 May 1939 – 23 February 2020) was a Hungarian footballer. He played as a midfielder.

Göröcs was born in Gánt. He played club football for Újpesti Dózsa and Tatabányai Bányász. He played 62 games and scored 19 goals for the Hungary national team. He played in the bronze medal winning national team at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He also played for his country at the 1962 FIFA World Cup. He later coached Újpest.

Göröcs died in Budapest on 23 February 2020 at the age of 80.[1]
