Daniel Owusu (born 13 June 1989)[1] is a Ghanaian footballer. He plays as a striker for 2. Liga club FC Liefering, on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. He also plays in the UEFA Youth League team of FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Career
[change | change source]Owusu began his career with West African Football Academy (WAFA) in Sogakope. He played in their youth teams. With WAFA under 16 team he won the 2018 Next Generation Trophy in Salzburg, Austria. He was selected best player of the tournament.[2] Then he played for the senior team of the WAFA.
In February 2021 he came to FC Red Bull Salzburg along with Forson Amankwah.[3] For the rest of the season he went on loan to SV Horn. After this loan he went on loan to the feeder team FC Liefering for the 2021-22 season.
