Dallas Long

Dallas Crutcher Long (June 13, 1940 – November 10, 2024) was an American track and field athlete. He mostly competed in the shot put. He won an Olympic bronze medal in 1960 and a gold medal in 1964. He also won a silver medal during the 1959 Pan American Games. Long was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Long died on November 10, 2024 under hospice care in Whitefish, Montana from problems caused by Parkinson's disease at the age of 84.[1][2]
