Chiconcuac de Juárez, teepically referred tae simply as Chiconcuac, is a toun an municipio (municipality) in the state o Mexico, approximately 10 kilometers north o Texcoco de Mora. The name Chiconcuac derives frae the Aztec wird Chicome Coatl, “Seiven snakes”, which wis a date on the Aztec calendar.[1]

The muckle fuid court in the Chiconcuac mercat is widely famous for preparin barbacoa de borrego (lamb barbecue), an ither specialties o Mexican cuisine.
