Countries include - Australia, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, India, Singapore and the UK. \n\nThis individual will be a key contributor to our global finance organization (based in the UK, India and US) and must have a team-oriented and hands-on work style, willing to deal with tasks great or small, whatever it takes to get the job done.\n\nJob Duties:\n\n\n* Review and analyze VAT/GST on invoices & expense reports; prepare timely returns\n\n* Respond to supplier inquiries and reconcile statements; research and correct discrepancies\n\n* Administer the company travel & expense system to ensure compliance with global T&E policy and local compliance in each country\n\n* Work with HR to ensure all payroll related transactions are processed accurately and timely for all international payrolls\n\n\n\n\n\n* Prepare UK payroll using online software providers and assist with outsourced payroll companies for the remainder of countries.\n\n* Assist with the UK Pension Administration and monthly filings.\n\n* Assist with the preparation of annual P11ds and PSA filings.\n\n* Prepare payments for international payrolls and tax payments\n\n* Communicate payroll matters with employees\n\n* Record all payroll activity in the general ledger, book accruals as needed and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly\n\n* Maintain PTO trackers in compliance with local laws\n\n* Assist with all year-end accounts and tax reporting\n\n* Ensure a timely close of the general ledger including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses\n\n* Assist with collating information for external accountants to complete the local stat accounts and respond to any requests for information/clarification\n\n* Assist with the annual audit of the parent Company’s financial statements\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n- 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the Technology industry\n\n* Experience in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and Microsoft Excel would be preferable. Training will be provided.\n\n* An entry level understanding of US GAAP and UK GAAP. This position will report directly into the Senior Director, Strategic Project Management.\nKey Responsibilities: \n\n\n* Develop financial models and data analytics to support business case development, and other strategic priorities\n\n* Support development and execution of annual operating plan for departments across the COO Org including financial planning and modeling, case development, and identification of cost optimization opportunities\n\n* Become a trusted advisor to leadership on business operations standard methodologies, P&L management, process improvement and other ad hoc initiatives\n\n* Tackle and drive value creation initiatives with cross functional participants and partners to improve company profitability, optimize business processes, and enhance operational capabilities\n\n* Become a strategic advisor and business partner to the Customer Success and Expert Services leadership team supporting management reporting, business process improvement, and operating model changes.\n\n* Support other business operations processes and ad hoc priorities including reporting, data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n\n* At least 3-5 years of proven experience in one or more of the following: finance, strategy, and/or business operations\n\n* Proficiency with SQL, Financial Planning systems (ie. Adaptive Insights), or Business Intelligence tools (ie.
