Proxyman LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://proxyman.io website (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

1. Data Collection & Usage
1.1 Desktop Applications (macOS, Windows, Linux)
Data We DO NOT Collect
- Name and contact details (e.g name, address, phone numbers, day of birth, National ID, etc);
- Account details (e.g. username, password);
- Payment information (such as bank account information, credit card information, receipts, transactions);
- HTTP/HTTPS Requests and Response content (e.g. URL, Host, Domain, Status Code, Headers, Body, etc);
- Private information in your devices (e.g. Your data on Download, Desktop, Applications, MAC Address, etc);
Users do not have to register to use Proxyman. Thus, all users are anonymous to us. We do not hold personally identifiable information to identify users.
Regarding the Proxyman Root Certificate, it is a self-signed certificate that is generated in your local machine. Thus, all requests and responses are captured and stored on your computer and Proxyman does not have access to your data.

Data We Collect
- Email address (only for license activation)
- License key (only for license activation)
- Device name (only for license activation)
- Anonymous analytics data:
- Device model (e.g. MacBook Pro, iMac, etc)
- Session duration
- OS name and version
- Feature usage statistics
- Crash reports
Important Notes:
- All analytics and crash data is collected anonymously with no personally-identifying information.
- You can opt-out of data sharing at any time:
- Go to App Setting → Privacy
- Uncheck "Share analytics with Proxyman" and/or "Share crashed reports with Proxyman"
- License-related data (email, license key, device name) is only collected if you activate a paid license. This information is used to:
- Send your license key and payment receipt
- Help you manage devices associated with your license
- Monitor license expiration dates
- Note: We do not use auto-renewal or auto-charging

Data We DO NOT Collect
- Name and contact details (such as name, address, or phone numbers);
- Account details (such as username, password, or how often you have used Proxyman);
- Payment information (such as bank account information, receipts, transactions);
- HTTP/HTTPS Requests and Responses content (e.g. URL, Host, Domain, Status Code, Headers, Body, etc);
- Private information in your devices (Such as device models);
Data We Collect
- Device name (iOS 15 or earlier) or generic device model (iOS 16+)
- Used only for generating unique self-signed Root Certificates
- Never transmitted to our servers or third parties
- Stored locally on your device only
About Proxyman VPN for iOS
Proxyman iOS uses Apple's Network Extension framework (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/networkextension) to implement the local VPN functionality. This framework allows us to:
- Create a local VPN tunnel on your device
- Monitor and inspect network traffic for debugging
- Keep all data processing local to your device
- Operates as a local VPN on your device only
- Does not connect to any remote VPN servers
- Purpose: Captures device traffic for local debugging
- Data storage:
- Stored in local sqlite3 database only
- Located in Shared Group Container
- Automatically cleared when:
- App is deleted
- User clicks "Clear" button
- Never transmitted to external servers
2. Service Providers
We employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
The following companies have access to your Personal Data only to perform the tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
2.1 Analytics
We use these following third-party to detect, prevent and address technical issues, and provide analysis of feature-related information so that we can improve the Service
1/ Website:
We do not use any analytics services for our website. We respect your privacy and do not collect any personal information or usage data through our website.
2/ Visual Studio App Center (macOS, iOS) (Deprecated - Only available for Builds v5.11.0 or earlier):
We use App Center to help improve Proxyman’s stability and performance by sending the crash report if Proxyman is terminated unexpectedly. Other diagnostics and usage data is collected anonymously and kept in aggregate with no personally-identifying information.
You can opt-out of sharing this data by going to System Preferences -> Privacy -> Uncheck "Share analytics with Proxyman" or "Share crashed reports with Proxyman".

3/ Sentry (All Platforms):
Sentry is a developer-first error tracking and performance monitoring platform that helps us to improve Proxyman’s stability and performance by sending the crash report if Proxyman is terminated unexpectedly.
You can opt-out of sharing this data by going to App Setting -> Privacy -> Uncheck "Share analytics with Proxyman" or "Share crashed reports with Proxyman".

4/ Telemetry Deck (macOS, iOS: Available for Builds v5.12.0 or later):
We use Telemetry Deck to collect anonymous usage data from Proxyman for macOS and iOS. This data is used to improve Proxyman’s stability and performance.
You can opt-out of sharing this data by going to App Setting -> Privacy -> Uncheck "Share analytics with Proxyman" or "Share crashed reports with Proxyman".

2.2 Payment Processor
We use Stripe as our payment processor to handle transactions and help prevent fraud. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy and security standards. Based on our agreement with Stripe, they are not allowed to use users' information for their own purposes beyond what is necessary for providing payment services to us.
Stripe is a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the highest level of certification in the payments industry.
