Description

Presently, the link preferences from the Search Preview tutorial (T311669) will redirect a user to Special:Preferences page not to Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-searchoptions

Note: There are several links referring to specific sections on Special:Preferences, so to have Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-searchoptions would make users' experience more consistent.

e.g.

  • Enabling/disabling Help panel (GrowthExperiments feauture) href="/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-personal-homepage"
  • Special:Notifications - href="/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-echo"
