Transfer Rumor: CRUISELINER ALERT!!

Over on Rutgers board, RUcrackers claiming he predicted Suriano, Campallatano and others.

Apparently he is an ex AA for RU and has an insider. He’s claiming PSU and Iowa both have “Suriano level” talents leaving both programs. Hints that the PSU wrestler has a redshirt available and Iowa wrestler does not.

Many of the RU faithful jumping on his jock thanking him for the info and taking guesses. They thinking Levi or Kasak coming after year! LOL

Best quote by the OP over there
“Yes, sir. You're gonna shit a pound of pickles when you see who they are. Both Suriano level.”

Iowa vs PSU 2025

I would like to begin by saying that this Iowa team seems pretty good for Iowa. It appears to be one of the favorites for a trophy. That having been said Iowa vs PSU is an 8-2 win for the good guys. Lets look and I will try to spare the commentary.
125- Luke gets bonus points over whomever
133 Ayala gets one of two maybe one of Iowa's wins here. Our 133 bench has not proven to be there yet. I love both of our guys at this weight but like I said.
141- BB bonuses Ryder Block who looked non AA in his first match out.
149- I am a Cali wrestlers dad so the Parco's of the world get my respect and affection. And BB-SVN-Kasak have all beaten him and he is yet to beat PSU. No bonus for the good guys
157- Kasak and Alec can win here but... Iowa is the favorite no bonus
165- Caliendo is Iowa's best wrestler but until proven otherwise PSU gets bonus points here
174- Nelson Brands...sigh. How far the mighty have fallen. Levi performs a human sacrifice. Bonus points PSU
184- A healthy Carter gets a nice stretch here (nor flies on Gabe just lets get real) Bonus points good guys
197- Josh Barr gets the room edge in a tight bout no bonus points (or not hence the 8-2 hedge at the beginning)
HWT- A healthy Greg bonuses a game Hawkeye
PSU can break its own record this year with this team and this competition

PA HS Wrestling thread

Since Dunk requested a thread ...

Isaiah Vance is the returning PA AAA 285 runner-up to Hunter Catka, and the only wrestler Catka did not bonus all year. Heavy favorite to win this year. Borderline top 10 nationally. Won Powerade with a victory over Malvern Prep's Cole Deery (also national top 10) in the finals. Great pickup for Army.

What would the student section turnout be for a home playoff game?

Assuming we beat Maryland, and assuming we play a home game Saturday 12/21, I'm wondering what our student section will look like for that game. Finals end Friday the 20th, but based on my experience the campus is typically a ghost town that last day or two of finals. How many students are going to hang around 3, 4, or 5 extra days for the game?

Housing and dining halls will stay open until Sunday but I can't imagine we'll be able to fill 21k seats in the student section like we do for the big in-season games. I think the overall turnout will be way down even though some kids will want to hang around and party for a few more days. I'm guessing that the student section ticket allotment will be a lot less for the playoff game.
