Abstract

A system and method for viewing message status information of the group message sent or received and communicate with the members in the group either through message or any type of call option from the message status information screen itself privately. Every member in the group have the option to view the message information detail from the screen itself in single click. If necessary they can communicate among members in the group through the message and call option. The message status information for each message in the message conversation string can be viewed independently. Additionally, the message read members and message unread members in the group are viewed separately in the message status information folder for the utmost user convenience. Providing a sophisticated way of viewing the message status information of the group message with communication links, the said messaging application gives the users a greatest flexibility.

INFORMATION OF STATUS OF THE SENT OR RECEIVED MESSAGE IN A GROUP WITH A COMMUNICATION LINK IN A DIGITAL COMMUNICATION PLATFORM

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention, in general, relates to information technology and computer applications and more particularly to an internet messaging application for mobile communication devices which can be accessed from all types of communication devices like Mobile Cell Phones, Desktop Computers, Laptop Computers, and Digital Tablets.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Digital communication devices, such as Smartphones including the technically advanced foldable mobile phones, desktop computers, laptop computers, digital tablets are increasingly powerful and the sources of potential incoming or outgoing digital messages are increasingly more varied. As a result, such mobile communication devices are being designed and built to permit all type of users to accept various types of digital messages. The message can be send to either individual or to a group.

Communication Applications include but not limited to Whatsapp, WeChat, Slack, Telegram, Facebook, Google Hangout, etc are becoming increasingly popular among Internet and worldwide web users because the existing messaging applications are easy to use but features are limited in certain phase, like viewing the message status information of the group message among the users within the application. None of the messaging applications have option to view the full message status information of a group message. And also there is no possibility in the existing applications to view the “read and unread” status of all the members of a group in a single screen with the read time and date. Moreover the option for the members in the group to communicate from the message status information screen to the other members of the group independently (privately) within the application is not available in other application.

In this digital age, various OTTs (over-the-top applications) using the internet as mode and various kinds of devices like desktop and laptop computers, computer notebooks, and tablet computers, Smartphones generate a huge number of messages. Most of these applications offer a variety of features for the users. But if we thoroughly analyse its features, most of them do not give advanced features to the common man. Prior to the internet message, we had the SMS and Internet Chat and, in those days, Internet chat and SMS was used to send short text messages only between two users. Later, the internet messaging application was introduced which allow the users to send the messages to multiple users. After sending the message to multiple users in the group, in some of the applications only the sender has the option to view the status of the group message whether the message is read or unread by the members of the group. In other applications both the sender and recipient have the option to view the read user details but have no option to view the unread member status and communicate with the any member (both read and unread member) of the group privately. Member of the group have no option to check from the dashboard or the group member folder if the other members of the group have read or unread the group message.

In the existing messaging applications, options are available to send the message to all members in a group and view the user information details with the limitations include, the message status information cannot be viewed by all members of the group in a single screen and group members cannot view the individual message status information details like message read or unread, if read, read time of all the read members who have read the message in the group. There is no option for all the members in the group to know whether members in the group have read the message and when it was read. And also from the message status information screen, the user has no option to further communicate with any one member of the group either through message or any type of call options available. There is no facility in the existing messaging applications to communicate in between the members of a group, through various mode of communication like a message or any type of calls from a single screen by a single click in a user-friendly manner.

With the advent of modern mobile internet communication networks, the messages have gained a lot of popularity and hence reached wide adoption. So, the users need a variety of advanced features while using the messaging application frequently. The features should have more professional solutions to give more value to the users. One such feature is “viewing the message status information of the message sent to a group and further communicating with the members in the group by a private message or any type of call options available”. This will allow the members in the group to communicate with any of the group members immediately from the same status information screen. In the prior art techniques, there is no option for the initiator to view the message information detail like read or unread, with the user profile picture and name along with the option to communicate further to each and every member in the group individually or privately through message or any type of call from the status information screen itself. And also there is no option for any of the members in the group to view the information of the other group member whoever received the message and who have read it and at what time it was read and who have not read the message. And also no option to view the message status information for the group message sent for selective members of the group or all members of the group.

In the existing applications there is no option to view the string of messages or message conversation in a group and also no facility to see the message status information for every message in the string of conversation to know the read time and date of every member of the group or the message unread status.

Hence there is a need exists for the digital messaging application wherein the users (sender and all members in the group) can view the message status information screen, to know the status of the message either read or unread by the members in the group and also the message read time and date by the members of the group and the option to communicate with the members directly from the message status information screen itself either through message or different types of call options available. And also, there is a need exists for viewing the message status information for the string of messages or conversation separately for every message to know about the group member’s message read and unread status and to further communicate with the group members from the message status information screen itself.

To overcome this problem, the present invention introduces a concept of viewing the information of the status of the messages sent or received between members of the group (either selective members of the group or all members of the group) along with communication link. The message read or unread status for every member can be viewed along with date and time. Also, the sender or receiver can communicate with any of the members of the group privately by sending a message or making any type of calls to them from the message status information screen of the sent or received message. The message status information for the whole string of conversation can also be viewed for every message separately and the respective members in the message conversation can further communicate with required group member from message status information screen either through message or any type of calls privately.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The following summary is provided to facilitate an understanding of some of the innovative features unique to the disclosed embodiment and is not intended to be a full description.

Users (sender and receiver) are in need of a better way for viewing the information of the status of the message sent or received and to communicate with any of the member of the group through multiple way of communications like direct (private) messages or any types of calls from the same message status information screen as per the user selection. And the members of the group can communicate with each other independently from the message status information screen.

An object of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the existing prior art techniques by providing a user-friendly mechanism of addressing the challenges faced by the users while viewing the message status information of the message sent or received by the members of the group and communicating to the members of the group privately from the same screen in an internet-based messaging application.

It is, therefore, one aspect of the disclosed embodiment is to provide an improved structured digital messaging application for viewing the message status information of the message sent or received within the group and further communicating with any of the group members through message or any type of call from any of the options provided from the message status information screen itself after sending or receiving message with or without attachment by the user ” through the mobile cell phones (Smartphones) as well as through other communication devices like Desktop I Laptop Computer, Digital Tablets etc.

Another aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for viewing the message status information for the sent or received message addressed to selected members in a group or all members in the group by clicking the message status icon (i) from dashboard or message folder of the group in the mobile communication devices. One more aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for the initiator of the group message to view the message status information with the read time and date of the message sent to selected members or all members in a group by a single click.

Another aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for the members in a group to view the message status information with the read time and date of the message sent to selected members or all members in a group by a single click.

One more aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for the initiator of the group message to communicate with the group members who have read the message or the group members who have not read the message in the group through the message option in the group message status information screen privately to any of the members in the group from the group message status information screen.

Another aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for a group member to communicate with the other group members who have read the message or the group members who have not read the message in the group through the message option in the group message status information screen privately to any of the members in the group from the group message status information screen.

One more aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for the initiator of the group message to communicate with the group members who have read the message or the group members who have not read the message through the any type of calls like audio call, video call, face time call for iPhone users, video conference call etc privately from the group message status information screen.

Another aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application for a member of the group to communicate with the other group members who have read the message or the group members who have not read the message through the any type of calls like audio call, video call, face time call for iPhone users, video conference call etc privately from the group message status information screen.

One more aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved messaging application with the option to view the message status information for a group message conversation for every individual message in the message conversation string.

Another aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved digital messaging application where the message status information of all the group message can be accessed directly from the “information icon (i)” in the dashboard or message folder of the group message by clicking the “group message information icon “i” or clicking the tag “selected members” or “all members”.

One more aspect of the disclosed embodiment is to provide an improved digital messaging application that allow all or selected members in the group as per the sender choice to view the message status information through their customized hardware communication devices - that is the purpose-built digital tablet, laptop computer, desktop computer, mobile smartphones and the like.

Another aspect of the disclosed embodiments is to provide for an improved user-friendly system and method for viewing the message status information of the sent or received group message in the messaging application.

The present invention, therefore, is a new and effortless way of viewing the message status information of the group message sent to selected members or all members of the group in an internet-based messaging application. It is also a user-friendly way of knowing the unread status or read time and date of the message sent to a group (selected members or all members) in a single click and communicate privately to any of the members in a group from the message status information screen either through message or any types of calls. And it’s easy to know about the status of the message conversation string separately for each message in the conversation regarding the group members read and unread status and option to communicate with any group member and also with the sender of the message in the conversation through a private message or by any type of call from the option available.

The aforementioned aspects and other objectives and advantages can now be achieved as described herein. A system and method for viewing the detailed message status information of the message sent to a group (selected members of the group or all members of the group) and the option to communicate with the members in the group privately. The communication can be carried either through message or any types of call which includes IP audio call, video call and like. A messaging server (High-End server) for sending, processing and viewing the message status information of the message sent to a group and communicating privately with the members of the group from the internet messaging application.

The invention herein relates to a digital messaging application for business/personal communications, during the communication the message status information of the group message sent or received along with various types of communication options like message or any type of calls and the message information (unread or read with time and date) are viewed. The above described message status information have a very significant role in the messaging application. The invention additionally relates to a user-friendly mechanism for viewing the message status information for each message in the message conversation string between the members of the group in a network environment. Further, the present invention specifically relates to a system and method for viewing and communicating privately between the members of the group from the message status information of the single message or a string of message conversation.

According to an aspect, a method for viewing the message status information of a group message or message conversation string of a group from the sender side and receiver side. The sender is a member of the group. The receiver is also the members of the group as per the sender selection (selected members or all members of the group). The method comprises: viewing the message status information of a group message or string of message conversation of a group by the sender (initiator) from a sender (initiator) device. Viewing the message status information of a group message or string of message conversation of a group message by the recipient or group member from the recipient device (mobile phones, laptop computers, desktop computers, digital tablets, etc) of the selected recipient or group member. The sender device includes but not limited to mobile phones, laptop computers, desktop computers, digital tablets etc.

According to another aspect, a system for viewing the message status information details of the group message is provided. The system comprises a sender device of a sender configured to view the message status information details of group message sent or received using an interface, a first receiver device of a recipient configured to view the message status information details of group message sent or received using an interface and a server unit communicably coupled to the sender device and first receiver device (the sender and receiver device includes mobile phones, laptop computers, desktop computers, digital tablets, etc), the server unit is configured to receive, process and view the message status information details of the sent or received group message to the selected members or all members of the group to and from the first sender device and the first receiver device, wherein the first sender and receiver device is configured to access, the message status information details of a group message sent by the (initiator or sender)first user from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user and access, the message status information details of a group message received by the (group members or recipients) second user from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user.

According to further aspect, a computer program product comprising instructions is provided which, when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to carry out the instructions for accessing, by the sender or initiator, the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator (sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and accessing, by the group members or recipients, the message status information details of a group message received by the group members(recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user. The sender is a user of the group , the option available for the initiator to send the message to selected members or all members of the group and option to view the status information of the group message, showing members who have read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read (unread) the message separately and for the initiator to communicate with any of the member of the group privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of call privately, wherein the option available for the second user (group member) to view which group members read (with date and time) or not read (unread) the group message from the group message status information and communicate with any member of the group or with the initiator privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of calls, wherein the option available for the first user (initiator) of the each message in the message conversation string to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of the group members and communicate with the particular group member privately through message or any type of call, and the option to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of every group member and communicate with the group member or initiator privately through message or any type of call by the second user (group members) of the each message in the message conversation string.

According to yet another aspect, a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs for execution by the one or more processors of a system for viewing the message status information details of the group message sent to a group by a first user, the one or more programs including instructions for accessing, by the first user (sender or initiator), the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator( sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and accessing, by the second user (group members or recipients), the message status information details of a group message received by the group members(recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, wherein the first user is an individual or a user of the group of users, wherein option available for the first user (initiator) to send the message to selected members or all members of the group and option to view the status information of the group message, showing members who read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read (unread) the message separately and for the first user (initiator) to communicate with any of the second user (member of the group) privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of call privately. The option available for the second user (group member) to view which group members have read (with date and time) or not read (unread) the group message from the group message status information and communicate with any member of the group or with the initiator privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of call, wherein the option available for the first user (initiator) of the each message in the message conversation string to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of the group members and communicate with any particular group member privately through message or any type of call, and the option to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of every group member and communicate with any group member or initiator privately through message or any type of call by the second user (group members) of each message in the message conversation string. The other aspects of the invention will be apparent from the detailed description that follows.

The present invention relates to a user-friendly mechanism of sending the messages to a group within the application. This is a system and method for viewing the message status information of the message sent to selected or all members in the group and communicating to the group members independently privately either through message or any type of call.

Referring to FIG. l, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender digital message folder 100. This screen shows the sender starts typing a new message to send it to the selected members in the group. The folder 100 includes (110) Profile picture of the user (sender), (120) Name of the group and group members count, (130) Digital message content, (140) Button ‘selected members’ to select members in the group to send the message.

Referring to FIG.2, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender digital message folder 200. This screen shows, the sender selecting few of the members in the group to send the message. The folder 200 includes (210) Tick mark shows the selected members of the group, (220) Display of the selected group member names, (230) Post Button Icon to send the digital message to the selected members of the group.

Referring to FIGG, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the message application dashboard of the sender digital message folder 300. This screen shows, the group message sent by the sender to the group members in the group. The folder 300 includes (310) the group message information icon “i” which indicates the message sent was a group message, by clicking the “i” icon the group message information can be viewed, (320) the name of the group, (330) the subject of the message sent.

Referring to FIG.4, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the digital message folder of the sender 400. This screen shows the Sender’s Message Status Information Screen (shows which member in the group have read the message and which member have not read the message, if read, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the read and unread status of the group member in the group. The folder 400 includes (410) Content of the Message, (420) the count of the members who read the message, (430) name of the group member who read the message, (440) Profile Image of the group member, (450) Read Time Information with Date, (460) option to communicate with the group member privately through call(any type of call available), (470) option to communicate with the member privately through message, (480) the count of the group members who unread the message sent by the sender, (490) Profile Image of the group members with name who unread the message without timestamp (which indicate the message is not yet read by that group members).

Referring to FIG.5, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender’s view of the group message folder 500. The screen shows the message sent by the sender in the group message folder. The message folder 500 includes (510) Profile picture of the sender, (520) the message information icon “i” by clicking the message information icon “i” the message status information of the sent message can be viewed by the sender, (530) the message sent by the sender, (540) the tag “selected members” which shows the message is sent to the selected members of the group, by clicking that tag the message status information can also be viewed by the sender.

Referring to FIG.6, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the digital message folder of the sender 600. This screen shows the Sender’s Message Status Information Screen (shows which member in the group have read the message and which member have not read the message, if read, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the read and unread status of the group member in the group. The folder 600 includes (610) Content of the Message, (620) Profile Image of the group member with name, Read Time Information with Date, communication option like message and any type of call, (630) Profile Image of the group members with name who unread the message without timestamp (which indicate the message is not yet read by that group members), (640) sender selecting the message icon of the one of the group member who unread the message, to contact that particular member further privately through message. Referring to FIG.7, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender digital message folder of 700. This screen shows that the sender accessing the message folder of the selected group member to send a message privately. By clicking the message icon of the selected group member in the message status information screen (FIG 6) of the sender, the sender can communicate with the selected “group member 3” through message. The folder 700 includes (710) Profde image and name of the selected group member.

This screen shows the Sender’s Message Status Information Screen (shows which member in the group have read the message and which member have not read the message, if read, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the read and unread status of the group member in the group. The folder 800 includes (810) Content of the Message, (820) Profile Image of the group member with name, Read Time Information with Date, communication option like message and any type of call, (830) Profile Image of the group members with name who have not read the message without timestamp (which indicate the message is not yet read by that group members), (840) sender selecting the call icon of the one of the group member who unread the message, to contact that particular member further privately through any type of call option.

Referring to FIG.9, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the Sender Message Status Information Screen 900. This screen shows that the sender accessing the multiple call option of the particular group member by clicking the call icon of the selected group member and communicate with that group member through any type of call. The folder 900 includes (910) Profile picture of the selected group member, (920) the call icon to make either audio or video call to the “group member 3” (one of the group member), (930) option to call the users first mobile phone number, (940) option to call the users second mobile phone number, (950) option to call the user landline number, (960) option to call the users face time call (only for iPhone users).

Referring to FIG.10, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the one of the group member’s internet digital message folder 1000. The screen shows the view of received message in one of the group member message folder. The message folder 1000 includes (1010) Profile picture of the group member who received the group message, (1020) the message information icon “i” (by clicking the message information icon “i” the message status information of the received message can be viewed by the group member), (1030) the message received by the group member, (1040) the tag “selected members” which shows the message is received by the selected members of the group, by clicking the “selected members” tag the group member can again view the message status information of the message received by the selected member in the group.

Referring to FIG.12, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender digital message folder 1200. This screen shows the sender starts typing a new message to send it to all members in the group. The folder 1200 includes (1210) Profile picture of the user (sender), (1220) Name of the group and group members count, (1230) Digital message content, (1240) Button ‘All members’ to send the message to all members in the group.

Referring to FIG.13, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender’s view of the group member internet digital message folder 1300. The screen shows the view of sent message of the sender in group member message folder. The message folder 1300 includes (1310) the profile picture of the sender, (1320) the message information icon “i” by clicking the message information icon “i” the message status information can be viewed by the sender, (1330) the message sent by the sender, (1340) the tag “all members” which shows the message is sent to all the members of the group, by clicking that tag the message status information posted to all members in a group can be viewed by the sender.

This screen shows the Sender’s Message Status Information Screen (that is the sent message has been read or not by the group members, if “read”, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the “read” and “unread” status of the group members in the group. The folder 1400 includes (1410) Content of the Message, (1420) Read group member name with profile picture, Read Time Information with Date and option to communicate either through message or any type of call to that particular member, (1430) name with profile picture of the group member who unread the message without timestamp (which indicate the message is not yet read by the member in the group), (1440) the message icon to contact that particular group member through message.

Referring to FIG.15, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the sender digital message folder of 1500. This screen shows that the sender accessing the message folder of the selected group member to send a message privately. By clicking the message icon of the selected group member in the message status information screen (FIG 14) of the sender, the sender can communicate with the selected “group member 3” through message. The folder 1500 includes (1510) Profile image and name of the selected group member.

Referring to FIG.16, an embodiment of the present invention illustrates graphical representation of the digital message folder of the sender 1600. This screen shows the Sender’s Message Status Information Screen (that is the sent message has been read or not by the group members, if “read”, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the “read” and “unread” status of the group members in the group. This screen shows the group members (sender) Message Status Information Screen (show which members in the group have read the message and which member have not read the message, if read, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the read and unread status of all the group members in the group. The folder 2100 includes (2110) Content of the Message, (2120) profile image and name of the group members who read the message in the message conversation string with the option to communicate with them either through message or any type of call, (2130) Profile Image and name of the group members who unread the message without timestamp (which indicate the message is not yet read by the group member).

The screen shows the string of message conversation between members of the group in the group message folder. The message folder 2200 includes (2210) profile picture of the group member(recipient) who received the message in the message conversation string, (2220) the group name with group member count, (2230) the message information icon “i” (by clicking the message information icon “i” the message status information of the message received in the message conversation string can be viewed, (2240) name and profile picture of the sender (one of the member) who replied for the message send by one of the member in the message conversation string, (2250) reply send by the sender in the message conversation string, (2260) the message conversation between the group members, (2270) the tag “All Members” which shows the message in the message conversation is received by all the members in the group, by clicking the “All Members” tag, the (recipient) group member can again view the message status information of the message received in the string of message conversation happened in between the group members.

This screen shows the group members Message Status Information Screen (show which members in the group have read the message and which member have not read the message, if read, then its timestamp with the communication option) which shows the read and unread status of all the group members in the group. The folder 2300 includes (2310) Content of the Message, (2320) the message and call option to communicate with the sender privately by members of the group, (2330) the group member is mentioned as “You”, because the message status information screen belongs to that particular group member, (2340) Profile Image and name of the group members who unread the message without timestamp (which indicate the message is not yet read by the group member).

Referring to FIG. 24, according to an embodiment, a method for viewing the message status information of a group sent to selected members or all members of a group has been provided and shown.

The sender is a group member. The recipient is an individual/multiple individual in a group. The method comprises viewing the message status information details of the group message sent in a group by a group member(initiator) to other members in the group, the method comprises accessing by the first user (sender or initiator) the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator(sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user and accessing by the second user (group members or recipients) the message status information details of a group message received by the group members(recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, the first user is an user of the group. The sender device and recipient device includes but not limited to mobile phones, laptop computers, desktop computers, digital tablets etc. First sender and recipient have the option to communicate with each other privately through message or any type of calls. The first user (initiator) can send the message to selected members or all members of the group and option to view the status information of the group message, showing members who have read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read (unread) the message separately and communicate with any of the second user (member of the group) privately from the message status information through a private message or any type of calls privately, the first user (initiator) of the each message in the message conversation string can view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of the group members and communicate with the particular group member privately through message or any type of calls.

According to another embodiment, a system for viewing the message status information details of the group message is provided. The system comprises a sender device of a sender configured to view the message status information details of group message sent or received using an interface, a first receiver device of a recipient configured to view the message status information details of group message sent or received using an interface and a server unit communicably coupled to the sender device and first receiver device (the sender and receiver device includes mobile phones, laptop computers, desktop computers, digital tablets, etc), the server unit is configured to receive, process and view the message status information details of the sent or received group message to the selected members or all members of the group to and from the first sender device and the first receiver device, wherein the first sender and receiver device is configured to access, the message status information details of a group message sent by the (initiator or sender)first user from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user and access, the message status information details of a group message received by the (group members or recipients) second user from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user. Both sender and recipient can communicate with each other privately through message or any type of calls.

According to another embodiment, a computer program product comprising instructions is provided which, when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to carry out the instructions for accessing, by the sender or initiator, the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator (sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and accessing, by the group members or recipients, the message status information details of a group message received by the group members(recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, the sender is an user of the group, the option available for the initiator to send the message to selected members or all members of the group and option to view the status information of the group message, showing members who have read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read (unread) the message separately and for the initiator to communicate with any of the member of the group privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of calls privately, wherein the option available for the second user (group member) to view which group members have read (with date and time) or who have not read (unread) the group message from the group message status information and communicate with any member of the group or with the initiator privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of calls, wherein the option available for the first user (initiator) of the each message in the message conversation string to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of the group members and communicate with the particular group member privately through message or any type of call, and the option to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of every group member and communicate with the group member or initiator privately through message or any type of call by the second user (group members) of the each message in the message conversation string.

Another embodiment teaches a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs for execution by the one or more processors of a system for viewing the message status information details of the group message sent to a group by a first user, the one or more programs including instructions for accessing, by the first user (sender or initiator), the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator( sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and accessing, by the second user (group members or recipients), the message status information details of a group message received by the group members(recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, wherein the first user is an user of the group, wherein option available for the first user (initiator) to send the message to selected members or all members of the group and option to view the status information of the group message, showing members who have read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read (unread) the message separately and for the first user (initiator) to communicate with any of the second user (member of the group) privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of calls privately.

In the aforementioned embodiments, wherein the option available for the second user (group member) to view which group members have read (with date and time) or not read (unread) the group message from the group message status information and communicate with any member of the group or with the initiator privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of calls, wherein the option available for the first user (initiator) of the each message in the message conversation string to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of the group members and communicate with the particular group member privately through message or any type of calls, and the option to view the message status information details individually for each message and option to view the message read or unread status of every group member and communicate with the group member or initiator privately through message or any type of calls by the second user (group members) of the each message in the message conversation string.

It will be appreciated those variations of the above-disclosed and other features and functions, or alternatives thereof may be desirably combined into many other different systems or applications. Also unforeseen or unanticipated alternatives, modifications, variations or improvements therein may be subsequently made by those skilled in the art which are also intended to be encompassed by the following claims.

Claims

Claims:

1. A method for viewing message status information details of a group message sent in a group, by a group member (initiator), to other members in the group, the method comprising: accessing, by the first user (sender or initiator), the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator (sender) from a dashboard notification or a message folder of the first user; and accessing, by at least one second user (group members or recipients), the message status information details of the group message received by the group members (recipients), from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, wherein the first user is a user of the group.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprising: sending, by the first user (initiator), the message to selected members or all members of the group; viewing the status information of the group message; displaying members who have read the message (with timestamp); displaying members who have not read the message (unread) separately; and providing, an option for the first user (initiator) to communicate with any of the second user (member of the group) privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of call privately.

The method as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, further comprising: viewing, by the second user (group member), which group members read (with date and time) the group message or did not read (unread) the group message, from the group message status information; and communicating, with any member of the group or with the initiator, privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of call.

The method as claimed in anyone of the claims 1-3, further comprising: viewing, by the first user (initiator) of each message in the message conversation string, the message status information details individually for each message; viewing, the read or unread status of the message, of the group members; and communicating with the particular group member privately through message or any type of call.

26 The method as claimed in anyone of the claims 1-4, further comprising: viewing, by the second user (group members) of each message in the message conversation string, the message status information details individually for each message; viewing, the read or unread status of the message of every group member; and communicating with the group member or initiator privately through message or any type of call. A system for viewing message status information details of a group message sent at least to a group by a first user, the system comprising: a first sender device of a first user configured to view the message status information details of group message sent or received, using an interface; a first receiver device of a second user configured to view the message status information details of a group message sent or received, using an interface; a server unit communicably coupled to the first sender device and the first receiver device, the server unit being configured to receive, process and view the message status information details of the sent or received group message to the selected members or all members of the group to and from the first sender device and the first receiver device, wherein the first user is individual user of a group and the second user is a group of users, wherein the first sender is configured to: access, the message status information details of a group message sent by the (initiator or sender) first user from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and wherein the first receiver device is configured to: access, the message status information details of a group message received by the (group members or recipients) second user from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user. The system as claimed in claim 6, wherein the system is configured to: provide an option to the first user (initiator) to send the message to selected members or all members of the group; view the status information of the group message; displaying members who have read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read the message (unread) separately; and provide an option to the first user (initiator) to communicate with any of the second user (member of the group) privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of call privately.

The system as claimed in claim 6 or claim 7, wherein the system is configured to: provide an option available for the second user (group member) to view which group members read (with date and time) the group message or did not read (unread) the group message, from the group message status information; and communicate with any member of the group or with the initiator privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of call.

The system as claimed in anyone of the claims 6-8, wherein the system is configured to: provide an option to the first user (initiator) of each message in the message conversation string to view the message status information details individually for each message; and provide an option to view the read or unread status of the message of the group members and communicate with the particular group member privately through message or any type of call.

The system as claimed in anyone of the claims 6-9, wherein the system is configured to: provide an option to the second user (group members) of each message in the message conversation string to view the message status information details individually for each message; provide an option to view the read or unread status of the message of every group member; and communicate with the group member or initiator privately through message or any type of call.

A computer program product comprising instructions which, when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to carry out the instructions for: accessing, by a first user (sender or initiator), the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator (sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and accessing, by at least one second user (group members or recipients), the message status information details of a group message received by the group members (recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, wherein the first user (initiator) sends the message to selected members or all members of the group and has the option to view the status information of the group message, displaying members who have read the message (with timestamp) and members who have not read the message separately (unread), and communicates with any of the second user (member of the group) privately from the message status information screen through a private message or any type of calls privately, wherein the second user (group member) views which group members read (with date and time) the group message or did not read (unread) the group message, from the group message status information, and communicates with any member of the group or with the initiator privately from the message status information screen through message or any type of calls, wherein the first user (initiator) of each message in the message conversation string views the message status information details individually for each message, and views the read or unread status of the message of the group members and communicate with the particular group member privately through message or any type of calls, views the message status information details individually for each message, views the message read or unread status of every group member, and communicates with the group member or initiator privately through message or any type of call by the second user (group members) of each message in the message conversation string. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs for execution by the one or more processors of a system for viewing message status information details of a group message sent to a group by a first user, the one or more programs including instructions for: accessing, by the first user (sender or initiator), the message status information details of a group message sent by the initiator (sender) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the first user; and accessing, by at least one second user (group members or recipients), the message status information details of a group message received by the group members(recipients) from the dashboard notification or message folder of the second user, providing an option to the first user (initiator) to send the message to selected members or all members of the group; providing an option to view the status information of the group message, displaying members who have read the message
