Abstract
The invention relates to gas purification equipment. The claimed device contains a cylindrical housing having an inlet pipe for contaminated gas arranged thereon, and having a conical lid with an outlet pipe for purified gas arranged thereon, and having a conical bottom with a an outlet pipe for sludge arranged therein. Arranged in the lower part of the cylindrical housing above the conical bottom is the contaminated gas inlet pipe, having a convergent nozzle oriented at an angle to the vertical axis in the direction of the conical bottom. Fastened alternately to opposite walls of the housing are blind plates. Each of said plates is in the shape of a circular segment and is mounted with an incline in the direction of the free edge of the plate. A sprinkling means is configured in the form of nozzles mounted level with and opposite to the respective plates, with the exception of the first nozzle from the bottom, which is fastened above the level of the lowest plate. Mounted in the upper part of the housing is a mist eliminator. A unit for the chemical contact treatment of gases is comprised of a centrifugal swirler having curved fins arranged in a circle at an angle to one another. The invention makes it possible to improve purification values and reduce the resistance of the apparatus by preventing the breakthrough of contaminated gases and reducing the formation of build-up on the plates.
