Abstract
The invention discloses a water electrolysis hydrogen production device and a hydrogen production method. The water electrolysis hydrogen production device comprises an electrolytic bath, an oxygen separator, a hydrogen separator, a circulating pump, an oxygen side control device and a hydrogen side control device, wherein the container size of the oxygen separator is not larger than half of the container size of the hydrogen separator; the oxygen side control device comprises an oxygen regulating valve and bypass manual ball valves connected to the two ends of the oxygen regulating valve; and the hydrogen side control device comprises a back pressure valve and third bypass automatic ball valves connected to the two ends of the back pressure valve. The size of the separator is redesigned according to the difference of the yield of hydrogen and oxygen produced through water electrolysis, control is met, and meanwhile cost is saved; only the oxygen regulating valve is reserved, the hydrogen regulating valve is replaced by the back pressure valve, and the bypass manual ball valve on the hydrogen side is changed into the bypass automatic ball valve, so that one regulating control output point is reduced, and simple and efficient control is ensured.
