BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Printed design drawings typically have a fixed, printed scale, but are rarely accurate.
This is due to inaccuracies arising from printing on various printers, through copies, scans and reprints or other media changes.
In the transfer to physical reality, the problem arises that the real scale of the plan is different from the one given - and a decrease in the dimensions of the plan is not reliable.
The scale of the plan must therefore be recalculated for each individual expression - this is time consuming for e.g. building plans of larger buildings.
TASK OF THE INVENTION/PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED
The object of the invention is to determine the actual scale of a printed plan by means of a single operation
SOLUTION
This is achieved by providing a ruler-like device with a fixed and a displaceable measuring point. By means of the measuring points, a range can be measured on the printed plan, and by entering the size specified in the plan, the actual scale of the drawing is output via a calculation function on a display.
By means of another function, several removed areas and the resulting scales can be compared. An inconsistency would therefore indicate a distortion of the plan.
STATE OF THE ART
DE 199 23 062 B4 describes a measuring device with a caliper gauge, which includes a microprocessor and a display. A pocket calculator is integrated in the measuring device. The data from the caliber gauge will not be transferred to the calculator.
DE 9407326 U1 describes a measuring device with a fixed length scale, a calculator with function keys and a display in which an arbitrarily adjustable length scale can be activated.
The measuring device does not have a caliper gauge.
W02008065617A2 describes a combination device of scale ruler, computer and protractor. An automatic calculation of the scale does not take place.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE DRAWING
Fig. 1 shows the ruler (1), marked on the zero point (2). Further components are the display with integrated processing unit (8), input field (6) for length information, an enter key (7) and a key (11) for deleting the current calculation process.
The caliper gauge (3) moves on top of the slide (9) and protected from contamination within the housing of the ruler (1) in the measuring rail (10). In the measuring rail (10) is a sensor (11 ) for measuring the position.
Fig. 2 shows a further embodiment, here, the measurement of the position of the caliper (3) work via the electrical resistance between two electrodes (12,13) in the slide rail (9).
Claims
1. Ruler (1) with electronic conversion unit for determining scales on printed plans, comprising a caliper gauge (3) running on a slide rail (9), a position measuring arrangement (3), a display (8), a computing unit and a plurality of manual input keys (6, 7,11), wherein that on the position of the caliper gauge (3) and manually entered values of the scale of a drawing is displayed.
2. Ruler (1) according to claim 1 , wherein the position of the caliper gauge is calculated by a position measuring arrangement (3) in the slide rail (9).
3. Ruler (1) according to claim 1 , wherein the position of the caliper gauge is calculated by the electrical resistance between two electrodes (12, 13) in the slide rail (9).
