본 발명은 자동차용 시트를 가공하는 액상접착제를 이용한 자동차 시트용 원단 합포방법에 관한것으로, 본 발명에서는 원단의 일면에 액상접착제를 도포하고, 도포된 접착제의 상면으로 가죽원단을 공급하여 가압롤러로 합포시키는 원단의 합포 방법에 있어서, 상기 액상접착제를 패턴롤러 또는 패턴마스크도포장치를 사용하여 도포하되, 상기 패턴롤러에 의해 도포되는 접착제의 패턴이 롤러의 길이방향으로 일정길이 및 폭과 도포두께를 가지는 제1수직접착제 도포라인과 제1수평접착제 도포라인이 반복되어 규칙적으로 배열되되, 상기 제1수평접착제 도포라인이 상기 제1수직접착제 도포라인의 중심에 위치되도록 도포되어 형성되는 제1도포라인과; 상기 제1수직접착제 도포라인의 하측으로 그 중심방향에 위치되도록 도포되는 제2수평접착제 도포라인과, 상기 제1수평접착제 도포라인의 하측으로 도포되어 형성되는 제2수직접착제 도포라인이 반복되어 규칙적으로 배열되되, 상기 제2수평접착제 도포라인이 상기 제2수직접착제 도포라인의 중심에 위치되도록 도포되어 형성되는 제2도포라인이 형성되며, 상기 제1도포라인과 제2도포라인이 상호 교차되어 원단의 길이방향으로 반복형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액상접착제를 이용한 자동차 시트.

[1] 본발명은폼부재또는원단의일면에액상접착제를도포하고,그상면에가죽, 직물등의원단을합포하여자동차용시트를제조하기위한자동차시트용원단 합포방법에관한것이다.
배경기술
[2] 기존합포기술은폼부재또는원단을접착하는표면에접착제를도포한후,
2개의직물원단을상하바로접하는가압롤러사이에통과시켜 2개의
직물원단을합포하는것을특징으로한다.
[3] 그러나원단기능의복합화를위해원단층간에삽입되는망사형원단은
신장률이없어,상하바로접하는가압롤러사이를연속적으로통과하면원단 좌우장력을균일하게할수없어느슨하게되는일단이접히는문제가있다.
[4] 특히자동차시트용가죽으로사용되는소가죽은미세한모공이존재하고
주변환경의온습도변화에민감하게반응하여수축과이완현상이발생하게 된다.이러한현상으로기존의접착방식을적용하여전면접착할경우주름이나 면뜸등의품질문제를유발하는문제가있었다.
[5] 이러한문제점을해소하기위하여대한민국등록특허제 ½-0419240호에
개시된바와같이원단의일면에접착제를도트형태로도포하는기술이 개시되어있으나,이러한도트형태의접착제도포기술을자동차용
시트제조공정에적용할경우,접착제의점접착으로합포원단의파단강도가 저하되는단점이있다.
[6] 따라서,자동차시트용가죽으로사용되는소가죽을사용하여원단합포시
수축과이완현상에의한주름형성,면뜸등의품질문제를해소할수있는원단 합포방법개발이필요하다.

자동차용시트를가공하는액상접착제를이용한자동차시트용원단
합포방법을제공하기위한것으로,보다구체적으로첨부도면도 1및도 2를 참조하여살펴보면,본발명의 액상접착제를이용한자동차시트용원단 합포방법은기재원단 (30)의 일면또는폼부재의 일면에 액상접착제 (50)를 패턴롤러 (60)또는패턴마스크도포장치 (300)를사용하여도포한다.
[31] 이때,상기 액상접착제 (50)는입자상태의열가소성접착제를용융장치 (50)에서 액상으로녹이고,이를배출기를통해상온에서패턴롤러 (60)에공급한다.
공급된액상접착제 (50)는상기패턴롤러 (60)에음각되어형성된패턴홈 (62)에 삽입되어위치되게되며,기재원단 (30)또는픔부재의 이송속도에 맞추어 회전하며,상기패턴롤러 (60)의타측으로코팅롤러 (80)가위치되고,상기 코팅롤러 (80)와패턴롤러 (60)를기재원단또는픔부재가통과하면서
액상접착제 (50)가기재원단 (30)의상면에 일정패턴을가지도록도포된다.
[32] 도면에는도시되어 있지않으나고정롤러 (70)와패턴롤러 (60)사이에원료가 공급되고고정롤러 (70)에부착된나이프가코팅롤러 (60)의표면을긁어내어 코팅롤러 (60)에음각부분에만액상접착제 (50)가들어가고상기
액상접착제 (50)가다시폼부재에도포되는방식으로코팅롤러 (60)의표면을 정리하는구조도사용할수있다.
[33] 바람직하게상기패턴롤러 (60)는제공된액상접착제 (50)가굳음현상이발생할 수있는것을방지하기위하여소정의온도로가열시키는것이좋다.도 2에 도시된바와같이,상기패턴롤러에의해도포되는접착제의 패턴이롤러의 길이방향으로일정길이및폭과도포두께를가지는제 1수직접착제
도포라인 (12)과제 1수평접착제도포라인 (14)이반복되어규칙적으로배열되되, 상기제 1수평접착제도포라인 (14)이상기제 1수직접착제도포라인 (12)의중심에 위치되도록도포되어형성되는제 1도포라인 (10)과,상기제 1수직접착제 도포라인 (12)의하측으로그중심방향에위치되도록도포되는제 2수평접착제 도포라인 (22)과,상기제 1수평접착제도포라인 (14)의하측으로도포되어 형성되는제 2수직접착제도포라인 (24)이반복되어규칙적으로배열되되,상기 제 2수평접착제도포라인 (22)이상기제 2수직접착제도포라인 (24)의중심에 위치되도록도포되어형성되는제 2도포라인 (20)이형성되며,상기
제 1도포라인 (10)과제 2도포라인 (20)이상호교차되어폼부재또는원단의 길이방향으로반복형성되도록액상접착제의도포형태의패턴이 형성되는것에 기술적특징이 있는것이다.
[34] 이와같이,액상접착제 (50)를도포하여접착제층패턴을형성한다음,
가죽원단 (40)또는폼부재를공급하여가압롤러 (42, 14)에통과시켜합포시킨다. 이때,상기가압롤러는합포가잘이루어지도록바람직하게일정온도를 유지하는히팅롤러를사용하는것이좋다.합포된합포원단 (90)은
가이드롤러 (92)에의해가이드되어권취롤러 (94)로권취하여완성된다.

절단부 (74)가형성되어진형태를가진다.이때,상기고정롤러는회전하지않고 고정된상태로있으며,상기고정롤러의단턱부 (72)는패턴롤러 (60)가 회전하면서패턴롤러 (60)에 형성되어 있는음각패턴에 액상접착제가고르게 인입되도록유도하며,또한패턴롤러 (60)의음각패턴외의표면에
액상접착제 (50)가잔류하지않도록하는기능을수행하게된다.
[36] 본발명에따르면,바람직하게도 2에도시된바와같이,상기제 1수평접착제 도포라인 (14)과제 2수평접착제도포라인 (22)은그도포층형성시 일끝단 (\ , w2)이일정부분중첩되게형성되도록도포되는것이바람직하다.만일,이 부분의중첩이되지않고벗어날경우에는접착제가도포되지않은부분이 일정 선상을이루게되고,하중이가해졌을때도포된부분에비해상대적으로약한 이부분에골주름이형성되는문제가있다.뿐만아니라온/습도에민감한 천연가죽인경우하중을가하지않아도주변환경에따라가죽이수축과이완을 하고,이완시마찬가지로이부분에주금이형성되외관품질문제와가죽변형을 악화시킬수있다.보다바람직하게상기 일끝단의중첩부 (0)는 0.1〜 3111111의 범위내를만족하도록도포되는것이좋다.
도포두께 ((13)를가지도록형성되는것이다.
[38] 만일,상기접착제도포라인이 1 미만일경우에는패턴자체가작아
감성품질면에서전면도포별차이가없으며 10111111을초과할경우에는시트용 가죽피스접착물에서모서리부미도포부위가많아져봉제시박리를유발할수 있다는단점이 있다.
[39] 또한,상기폭이 0.1_미만일경우에는원하는만큼의도포두께가나오지 않아박리강도가약해진다는단점이 있고, 1_을초과할경우에는반복적인 가중가압상황에서접착제도포층의자국이가죽외부로보일수있다는단점이 있다.
[40] 또한,상기접착제의도포두께는접착하고자하는소재에따라다르며통상 10나111미만일경우에는박리강도가현저히낮아진다는단점이있고, 100나 III을 초과할경우에는천연가죽의 80요1½88와강연도등감성품질과통풍성능이 현격히낮아지고경화시간이길어져긴급대응시미경화로인한문제를야기할 수있다는단점이 있다.
[41] 본발명에따르면,바람직하게상기접착제의도포는 1인치당 5~50의
도포밀도를가지도록도포되거나,혹은상기접착제의도포는픔부재또는 원단면적 대비 23~35%의도포비율로도포되는것이바람직하다.만일,상기 도포밀도또는도포비율의 임계치를벗어날경우에는박리강도어)가
나빠지거나혹은 80^8871-나빠지는문제가있을수있다.

도포량의변화를주지않도록변화를줄수있으며,패턴 3은패턴 1의박리강도 향상을위해돌기를추가한패턴으로,상기접착제도포라인은양끝단에돌기를 가질수있고,이돌기가제 1수평도포라인에형성될경우그크기는
제 1수직도포라인보다커질수없고,해당돌기가제 1수직도포라인에형성될 경우하단의제 2수평도포라인보다작게형성되는것이바람직하다.보다 바람직하게는상기돌기는도포라인길이대비 1/3이하의길이를가지도록 형성되는것이좋으며,그폭과두께는상기도포라인과동일하게형성되도록 하는것이좋다.또한패턴 5와같이저 11수직접착제도포라인과제 1수평접착제 도포라인은 2개이상라인의집합화된형상을가질수있으며이집합형상을 도포라인으로볼수있다.
[46] 한편본발명의편의상제 1수평접착제도포라인과제 1수직접착제도포라인의 형태를 I와一자를기본으로설명하고있으나사, I·,丄, , +등의문자및기호 중선택된하나또는 2개이상을혼합배열하여사용할수있다.
[4刀 본발명에따르면,도 4에도시된바와같이 ,상기패턴마스크도포장치 (300)는 원통형스크린패턴도포판 (250)과;상기원통형스크린패턴도포판 (250)의내측에 설치되는장치로액상접착제를공급하는접착제투입구 (110)가구비된 접착제분사장치헤드 (100)와;상기접착제분사장치헤드에일체로결합되어 구성되며잉크를분사하는접착제분사구 (130)와;상기접착제분사구의일측 또는양측에구성되여상기접착제분사구에의해분사된후상기
원통형스크린패턴도포판 (250)에잔존하는접착제를회수하는접착제 회수수단 (120)과;상기접착제분사장치헤드의상측에위치하며,상기
원통형스크린패턴도포판 (250)의외면에밀착설치되는클리닝롤러 (220);를 포함하며,
[48] 상기패턴마스크도포장치 (300)와압통 (260)사이에피도포체인원단 (160)을 밀착시킴과동시에이송시키며,상기패턴마스크도포장치 (300)에의해 액상접착제가폼부재또는원단의일면에도포되어패턴을형성할수있는 것이다.헤드부 (150)는접착제회수수단 (120)상에일체로구성되며
접착제도포헤드장치 (270)는접착제분사장치헤드 (100)와접착제회수수단 (120) 상의헤드부 (150)로구성된다.
[49] 이상과같은본발명에따른접착제도포패턴형성방법을이용하여 기재원단으로자동차용시트가공에사용되는스펀지원단을준비하고,상기 스펀지원단을도 1의패턴롤러 (60)를통과시켜상기 (패턴 1)의형태로접착제 도포패턴을형성하고,가죽을합포한합포원단을가공하였다.가공된합포원단 5개의시료로준비하였다.이때,도포두께는 50/zra,도포바율은 13.5%, 18.5%, 23.5%및 30.5%의비율로총 4가지의셈플로준비하여박리강도와
소프트니스 (Softness)를측정하여보았다.
[5이 또한,본발명에따른다른실시형태로도 4에도시된바와같은
패턴마스크도포장치 (300)를사용하여접착제도포패턴을형성하고,이후의 공정은상기패턴롤러를사용한방법과동일한조건으로합포원단을
가공하였다.가공된합포원단 5개의시료를준비하였다.이때,도포두께는 50^m, 도포비율은 13.5%, 18.5%, 23.5%및 30.5%의비율로총 4가지의셈플로준비하여 박리강도와소프트니스 (Softness)를측정하여보앙다.
[51] 상기준비된두합포원단의외관형태,물성등을시험하여보았으며,그결과, 하기표 1과같은제품특성을나타내었다.시험결과는모두각각의케이스별로 5개의시료를테스트한후그결과값을평균하여나타내었다.
[52] 표 1에서 4의테스트에사용된시료중가죽은비통풍사양 (softness 2.0-2.1 ), 폼은 34kg 10T (Olefin coating)으로모두동일하다.

[54] 상기표 1의결과로도포두께 50//111 /도포비율 23.5%,또는 30.5%일때가장 바람직한물성을나타내는것을알수있었다.특히,도포두께 50쌘! /도포비율 23.5%일때최적품질을나타내는것을알수있었고,이때 50요1^8는
약 0.3증가되는것을알수있었다. (도포량환산시 약 11抑/ )한편,도포비율이 18.5%, 13.5%일때는소프트니스는향상되나,박리강도가현저하게저하되는 것을알수있었다.그결과를종래방법에따라전체면적에 액상접착제를 도포하는방법을적용한합포원단 (표 2참조)과,등록특허제 10-0419240호의 방법에따른도트형태의접착제도포방법을적용한합포원단 (표 3및 4)을 준비하여본발명의합포원단의물성시험법과동일한방법으로시험하여 보았으며,그결과는하기표 2내지 4에나타내었다.

[56] 위표 1의테스트시료는가죽비통풍사양 /폼 341¾ 101올레핀을준비하였다.
_ _상기표 1로부타알수있듯이 ,액상접착제전면도포시박리강도테스트결과 스펀지파단이일어나는도포량은 4 / 이상에서일어나는것을알수있었다. 롤투롤방식의설비편차는약 1.5 으로약 1¾/ 으로이를고려하여최적 도포량은 50 로설정하였고,사용된원료의비중은약 1.06 으로도포 두께로환산시약 47_/ 이다.
[57] 도포두께 50 (도포량 5均/ )이상에서스펀지파단이일어나는것을알수 있었다.

[59] 상기표 3의결과로적정조건은도포두께 50 /패 /도포비율 40%인것을알수 있었다.(도포량환산시약 2¾/110즉,표 3과같이정삼각형의일정한반복패턴 적용시도포두께 50) /도포비율 40%에서최적품질을보이고이때 80요1½88는 약 0.2가증가되는것을알수있었다.

[61] 적정조건은도포두께 50 /패/도포비율 32%인것을알수있었다. (도포량
환산시약 16 1^)즉,표 3의도트패턴적용시 50쌔! /도포비율 32%에서최적 품질을보이고이때가죽/폼접착물의 80¾ 88는약 0.1증가되는것을알수 있었다.이러한결과로살펴본바,본발명에따른방법에의해가공된 합포원단이종래의합포원단대비박리강도는크게차이가나지않았으며,종래 방법에따른합포원단은상대적으로박리강도가높을경우
가저하되는 경향이있는것을알수있으나,본발명에따른합포원단은오히려 가 향상되는결과를나타내어보다우수한제품을제공할수있음을알수있었다.
