Description

A.method of conducting physical exercises and a lighting panel for conducting physical exercises
The subject of the invention is an innovative method of conducting physical exercises using the appropriate increased ambient temperature (the room in which exercises are carried out) and lighting.
In a method according to the invention the room in which the exercises are carried out is preheated to a temperature of 33-40 degrees Celsius using lamps emitting light / infrared radiation. Each lamp having regulated power from 750W to 2000W is intended for every 10 sq m of room space. Infrared lamps are hanged primarily on the ceiling of the room with a height of 3.5 m. Wall or floor lamps can also be used. Infrared radiation is invisible to humans, but can be received by receptors in the skin as an impression of heat, since infrared is identified with thermal radiation. The sense of heat caused by infrared radiation is often compared to the effect of exposure to sunlight. The result is an increase in the perceived temperature not only outside the body (in the room), but also from the inside of the body. As a consequence, it accelerates not only blood circulation but also releases toxins from the cells, thus accelerating fat burning. Then illuminating lamps, initially in white color, and music are switched on, and at the same time the first stage of exercise, which is wanning up, begins lt lasts from 10 minutes to 15 minutes and involves individual stretching of particular (respective) parts of the body by a person performing exercises. Stretching exercises are held on standing or on yoga mats. Under the influence of heat, the possibilities and limit of stretching the body become larger. This allows to shift the threshold of physical limitation, the threshold of pain occurring on an exercising person, which affects treatment of particular parts of the body and improves motor coordination. Then the proper exercise stage begins - lasting 21 minutes - during which an exercising person perfonns fast dance movements to the rhythm of the music accompanying the exercises, while - by controlling the illuminating lamps - the interior color is changed sequentially in the following cycles: yellow - green - blue - indigo - purple - red - orange, each color change occurs every 3 minutes and at the same time the music is changed. Changing the colors of lighting affects the human body, causing the stimulation of the endocrine system and, consequently, accelerating the burning of calories. All figures of exercises performed at the proper exercise stage are preferably repeated in sequences of 2 to 4 phrases of 8 music bits each. A bit is one hit or one sound. A music phrase consists of 8 bits, and a music theme consists of 4 phrases. Among them, two are growing (lst and 3rd) - finished with a high sound, and two are descending ones (2nd and 4th) - ended with a low sound. A music theme is a choreographic block which consists of 4 phrases, i.e. 32 bits. In the course of perfomiing the proper exercises while performing a given figure, the practitioner tightens the appropriate (to a given figure) muscles. After completing the cycle of phrases (the subject), the loosening phase lasting from 4 to 8 music bits takes place. Performing figures is to activate the entire body at the same time. Stretching and relaxing the muscles accelerates fat burning and makes the body firm. Then the final exercise stage starts - lasting from 10 to 15 minutes - in which the pace of exercise is slowed down and the muscles are extended and its work are deepened, focusing on each part of the body, one after the other. Each figure is preferably repeated once for 16 bits (2 music eights), which ensures fixation of the stretched muscles. During this time it is possible to additionally displaying the motivating program in the form of visualization. During the proper exercise stage air humidity is preferably regulated in the range of 60% to 70%, and during the final exercise stage air humidity is preferably increased up to 75%. Then the relaxation and rest stage begins, with white color lighting and without music.
The application of the invention, through the use of appropriately matched external factors influencing the exercising persons - room temperature, lighting, sound (music) and humidity - enables better physical exercise effects in the fonn of faster fat burning (up to 1000 calories in 60 minutes of exercise) and body firming.
Light therapy (phototherapy) affects the proper functioning of the whole organism, stimulates natural regeneration processes, stimulates metabolism, strengthens the immune system, improves blood circulation. If the wave of rays systematically reaches through the eyes to the cerebral cortex, it activates the defense mechanisms of the body, e.g. stimulates the secretion of hormones or enzymes. Color therapy, treatment with colored light, is an action on the hypothalamus. In the classic color therapy, the human body or its part is illuminated with a constant light of one color. The invention uses pulsating light that changes color over time according to the appropriate sequence of exercises. On the other hand, a properly selected temperature and humidity of the air in the room allows the people who exercise more effectively to bum calories. Thanks to humidity reaching 75%, the human body begins to expel water, which results in faster weight loss and increased removal of heavy metals from the body. It also gives the possibility of better breathing, and thanks to the small - molecule steam also affects the better condition of the skin.
Classes last about 51 minutes (the warming up stage: 15 minutes, the proper exercise stage: 21 minutes, the final stage: 15 minutes) in a room with an area of 80 sq m and a height of 3.5 m. The room where the exercises take place is preheated to the temperature 40 degrees Celsius using 8 lamps emitting light / infrared radiation with regulated power from 750 W to 2000 W each. Then illuminating lamps, initially in white color, and music are switched on. During warm-up, every batch of the body is extended, in particular fingers, wrists, neck, chest, hips, legs. Exercises are held in particular standing. Then the proper exercise stage begins - lasting 21 minutes— during which an exercising person performs fast dance movements to the rhythm of the music accompanying the exercises. In this phase, lively exercises are performed, switching from heels to toes, dance turnover, hip movements, etc. During this time, by controlling the illuminating lamps, the interior color is changed sequentially in the following cycles: yellow - green - blue - indigo - purple - red - orange, each color change occurs every 3 minutes and at the same time the music is changed. All figures of exercises performed at the proper exercise stage are repeated in sequences of 4 phrases of 8 music bits each. After the end of the cycle of phrases (the subject), the loosening phase lasting 4 music beats takes place. Then the final exercise stage starts - lasting 15 minutes - in which the pace of exercise is slowed down and the muscles are extended and its work are deepened. In this phase, exercises to stimulate metabolism are performed on the mat, e.g. legs are pulled in to the abdomen, leg muscles and back muscles are extended, hip exercises are performed, etc. Then the relaxation and rest stage begins, with white color lighting and without music.
The subject of the invention is also a light panel used in the method for conducting physical exercises according to the present invention. In the housing of a panel according to the invention there are two side parts, placed symmetrically along the long sides of the housing. Each side part has at least three holes, in which infrared lamps are installed, screwed into mounting sockets. In the central part of the housing there is a profile on the sides, and in the center there is light element covered by printed fabric. The light element has a bottom with RGB LED light points and a remotely controlled electronic controller. The RGB LED light points are programmed so that they change their color sequentially in the following cycles: yellow - green - blue - indigo - purple - red - orange, each color change occurs every 3 minutes, and between such a sequence white color is displayed. Combining the action of infrared radiation with the simultaneous effect of colored light - both in the method and in the device according to the invention - allows for better receiving of thermal and visual stimuli by the body, which stimulates it to even greater activity. In the lighting panel this effect is achieved by placing the infrared lamps next to color RGB LED light points.
The lighting panel as per invention is presented in the picture. The particular figures show as follows: fig. 1 - a front view of the panel, fig. 2 - a side view of the panel mounted under the ceiling (transverse cross section in the A-A plane), fig. 3 - longitudinal cross section of the panel in the B-B plane.
In the housing, made of composite board (DIBOND type) with a length of 1270 mm, width of 900 mm and height of 150 mm, there are two side parts (1), placed symmetrically along the long sides of the housing. Each side part (1), with a width of 190 mm, has four symmetrically placed holes, in which four infrared lamps (3) are installed, screwed into mounting sockets. In the central part of the housing with a length of 1230 mm, width of 520 mm and height of 115 mm there is an aluminum profile on the sides, and in the center there is light element (2) covered by printed fabric, which has a bottom with RGB LED light points and a remotely controlled electronic controller.
