Abstract

Hair roller having structural details enabling a lock of hair to be wound, treated and shaped with an air flow that passes through the inside of a spool (1) coated with tubular velcro (2) and having at the ends thereof circular fasteners (3) and respective retractable devices (4) that hold and release the locks of hair, the ends of the spool also having quick fasteners (7) for coupling flexible hoses (7) for supplying air to treat and shape the hair.

Description

ROLL FOR HAIR

Field of the Invention.

More particularly, the present invention relates to technical and functional improvements especially introduced in a particular type of hair roller, also known as a roller for shaping and treating different types of hair.

State of the art.

Therefore, the state of the art offers practically two types of hair rollers, one of which is a simple roller, some with special clips and some not, suitable for wrapping and shaping a strand of hair.

[04] Another type of hair roller are those more complex, which have additional devices, consequently, allow more functions, besides curling and shaping the hair, that is, adds resources for treatment of hair during its drying. Of course such treatment may include not only drying by flowing heated air, but also take advantage of this airflow to bring specific treatment products down to the hair.

[05] There is no doubt that the known rolls could be useful for drying and treatment of the hair, however, it was noted that they could be considerably improved, especially the more complex rolls used to dry and treat the hair , since they have shown that their use is disadvantageous when one speaks of practicality, since, firstly, they do not have the means for coupling and rapidly uncoupling the flexible tube which carries the air flow into the roller. They also do not have "staple" components or the like to attach the hair strand just to the root with just a touch.

BR9103006 and in other documents, it has been noted that they have some drawbacks, such as: difficulties in placing the hose in the inlet of the adapter, since it is fixed (non-rotatable), has few angles that allows connecting the hose having of rolling and unwinding the flexible tube several times until it has a correct connection angle; the air is injected vertically and on the side of the roller and then it expands horizontally and exits the leaks, which implies accumulating warm air near or directly to the scalp, which causes unpleasant sensations; usually have only one inlet to inject air into the cylindrical tube; The clip attaching the cylindrical tube to the head of the person absorbs heat by being metal is by not having a thermal protective coating and ends up attacking the place in which it is placed to hold the hair, since it absorbs the heat coming out of the leaks; the clamps are difficult to place by the person handling the assembly; and the known rollers have the tube or roll very smooth and do not offer any adhesion to the hair, which makes it difficult to wrap each wick.

Objectives of the Invention.

A roller practically in the form of a spool having an intermediate tubular part coated with an equally tubular velcro and suitable for receiving (winding) the hair strand to be shaped and treated. The ends of the intermediate tubular portion have fixed flanges and, against these flanges, there are discs, one on each side, that are axially movable, and move away from or approach the fixed flanges by means of retractable devices disposed within the intermediate tubular portion and , thus, said movable disks can be in two positions, spaced apart or juxtaposed against the fixed flanges. The movable disks have a set of rods, each with one end attached to the movable disk and, on the opposite side, freely traverses a hole in the fixed flange, forming a tab on each side of the reel. Thus, said rods, in addition to guiding the movable disk in its movement, also enter and are arranged around the central tubular section of the roller, where they function as a "circular comb" and, consequently, form a tab that secures the hair strand , keeping it in position during the molding, drying and or treatment.

Another object of the invention is the embodiment of "quick couplings" at both ends of the roller, so that a flexible air-flowing flexible hose can be easily and quickly connected in each of them. The quick couplings are of the magnetic type, therefore each coupling "invites" the tip of the flexible tube only by approximation and the coupling occurs automatically by magnetic attraction, which greatly expedites the coupling and uncoupling of the roll of the hoses.

The modifications made in the present hair roller have various features and advantages over the prior art because it uniformly maintains the flow of air injected into the roller until it exits through the castings. The cylindrical tube is provided with one or two air injection ports within the roller, which allows for increased airflow when the assembly is used by persons having large, bulky hair. The airflow is injected horizontally and rapidly expands through the vents, reducing the drying time of the hair, as well as this or these injected air inlets are in the center of the piece and are formed by fast, magnetic couplings that are connected at the ends flexible hoses of the diffuser. Only after the hairs are wound on the rollers and they are already secured to the wearer's head is the airflow hoses coupled to the ends of said rollers by means of the quick couplings. Each hitch is made by magnetic attraction and each hitch can rotate 360 ² in the two senses, even holding the seal while rotating, which greatly facilitates the handling of the assembly. With its cores, the air continues to be injected into the cylindrical tube horizontally, and because of this magnetic field between only two magnets we also have 360 ° rotational movement both to the right and to the left without detaching from each other or through articulated movement of the person's head when using the roller to dry the hair, the cylindrical tube can now be single-body and divided and joined by means of quick-release latches, this division of the cylindrical tube was necessary so that the new the retractable mechanical actuation is secured within the cylindrical tube together with the junction of the clamps passing in the holes of the edges of the closure of the cylindrical tube, thus forming a functioning assembly of the clamps with the retractable system to secure the roll when the hair is wound on the cylindrical tube to dry it, with this system of clamps and with retractable mechanical drive, are added numerous benefits the person who will be drying the hair but also to the professional or ordinary people by being easy to hold the hair after wrapping it in the cylindrical tube close to the root of the hair, these hair clips does not directly lean on the scalp and does not retain heat by having thermal coating to not absorb the heat that comes out through the holes is, having a greater grip at the root when securing the hair with firm and comfortable traction, without risk of letting the root of the hair by the joint of the movement that the person who will be using will happen to do and for this reason pulling firmly aligns better the hair that is not smooth, and to assist this alignment of the hair strands we also have the velcro as a great aid because the velcro of the adherence of the wire perfectly aligning the strands of hair to be wrapped in the cylindrical tube.

Detailed description of the invention.

[11] According to these illustrations and in their details, more particularly figure 1, the present invention, ROLL FOR HAIR, is characterized in that it comprises:

- body in the form of a spool (1);

- a tubular velcro (2) coating said spool (1), so as to form a slightly adherent surface for securing the wound strand;

- circular tabs (3) are arranged axially against the ends of the spool (1), where they are axially movable in the direction of invading or not the outer diameter of the tubular velcro (2), where they fix or release the rolled wick of hair;

- each tab (3) is interconnected with (4) disposed within the spool (1), compatible to lock each tab (3) in two distinct positions, one that locks and unlocks the hair strand wound on the spool (1);

the ends of the spool 1 have air inlet elbows 5, one on each side, having a flexible jagged coupled end 6 from any source of air flow, while the other end has quick coupling ( 7), engageable at the ends of the spool (1), so that an airflow can be established inside said spool (1) and from there to the rolled up hair.

The spool (1) is shown in detail in Figures 2 and 3, whereby it is shown that it is split, forming two axial parts, each defined by a tubular section (8) with walls which are hollowed out by openings (9). (8) is integrated with a closed flange (10) and further each tubular section (8) is glued inside the tubular velcro (2), the tubular portion (8) .

As shown in Figures 4 and 5, each circular tab 3 is formed by a disk 11 with a diameter which is parallel to the outer flange 10 and with a plurality of equidistant rods 12 forming a comb circular (13), concentric, with respect to the front flange (10) which, in turn, has a hole collar

[14], where the rods (12) penetrate and slide in and out, so that they can be around the Velcro (2) and slightly away from it and, in this position, fasten the wick said reel (1).

[14] As shown in Figure 6, each retractable device 4 is fixed to the inside of the blind flange 10 which, for that purpose, has hollow fittings 15a, where also the actuating rod 15b of each (16) and has locking details (IV) in two positions, while the opposite end of said actuating rod (15b) is fixed to the corresponding face of the circular tab ( 3, so that when pressed, the retractable device 4 is locked while holding the disc 11 against the blind flange 10, and in this position the rods 12 of said circular comb 13 ) can be placed around the velcro (2) and slightly spaced therefrom and, in this position, attach the hair strand wound on said bobbin (1).

The quick coupling 7 is illustrated in detail in figure 7, whereby it is shown that it is formed by a frustoconical head 18 and a frustoconical seat 19, is integrated in the elbow 5 by its larger diameter side, while the engaging seat 19 is integrated in the blind flange 10 and the disc 11, the same combined frustoconical holes 20 being provided, on the blind flange 10 include housings 21 for engaging two magnetic rings 22 and 23, wherein the first is secured to the blind flange 10, while the other is secured to the minor diameter side of the flange 10, truncated head (18). In this way, it is noted that the quick coupling (7) facilitates (1) on the wearer's head, each is connected to any source of air flow. This coupling of each spool (1) is performed only by approaching the frustoconical head (18) in the seat (19). The magnetic attraction of the quick coupling 7 causes the head 17 to be automatically centered and penetrates the seat 19 alone, thus establishing the connection with the spool 1. This connection is freely rotatable in both directions, without losing the efficiency of the seal. The disconnection is made simply by pulling out the elbow (5). Another advantage that stands out is that the free connection to rotate in both directions avoids twisting the air supply hose during use of the assembly, as well as facilitates the handling of the hair roller.

[16] In a simpler construction, shown in Figures 8 and 9, the assembly does not use the engaging system 7 and consequently eliminates all of its constructive details, including the retractable devices 4. In this version the comb 13 slides in the same way on the flange 10 of the spool 1, but only with some interference to prevent the said catch 3 from releasing easily after the lock of hair has been arrested, yet in this version it is possible to provide a guide rod 24 which at one end is attached to the center of the disc 11 and, at the opposite end, after passing through the flange 10, has a movement limiter 25, , preventing said tab from fully releasing from the spool (1) when brought into the position shown in Figure 9. Figures 10 and 11 show another constructional variation and in this case each clip 3 is lightly locked in the closed position by means of magnetic components 26 embedded in the corresponding faces of the blind flange 10 and the disc ( 11) of said clip (3).

[18] In a non-illustrated constructional variation, the spool (1) may have air inlet at only one end, with the same construction being maintained for the assembly.

[19] From the above, it should be noted that the present ROLL FOR HAIR was developed in order to characterize means to facilitate its use, both in the modeling of hair strands and also during possible treatments, as it presents features for coupling and rapid disengagement of a flexible hose attached to any source of air flow, whether heated or not, such as a dryer or a source of air supply mixed with any hair treatment product such as those used for, e.g. moisturizing, modeling, miscellaneous masks, and others. On the other hand, another facility offered by the assembly is the clip 3 and its circular comb 13, which moves out and in very easily, consequently after rolling the hair strand on the spool 1 The act of grasping and releasing such a wick is very facilitated by said tab (3). The quick coupling 7, by being rotatable, prevents twisting of the air hose and can be engaged after the roller has been placed on the wearer's head and, as such, a further advantageous effect is obtained, therefore, the user can move the head without compromising the couplings of the hoses and without twisting them.

Claims

1) ROLLER FOR HAIR, characterized in that it comprises:

- body in the form of a spool (1);

- a tubular velcro (2) coating said spool (1) and configuring an adhering surface for securing the wound strand;

- circular tabs (3) arranged axially against the ends of the spool (1), where they are axially movable in the direction of invading or not the outer diameter of the tubular velcro (2), where they fix or release the rolled wick of hair;

Retractable devices (4) interconnected with the tabs (3) and arranged inside the spool (1), adapted to lock each tab (3) in two distinct positions, one that locks the one of the hair strand wound on the spool (1);

- air inlet elbows (5), one on each side, having one end coupled to the flexible hose (6) from any source of air flow, while the other end has snap-engageable coupling (7) at the ends of the spool (1), so that an air flow can be established inside said spool (1) and from there to the rolled up hair.

A hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that the spool (1) is split, formed by two equal parts, each defined by a tubular section (8) with walls which are hollowed out by apertures (9) of passing from the air to the hair, but also an end of said tubular section (8) integrates with a blind flange (10) and, furthermore, each tubular portion (8) is glued inside the tubular velcro (2).

A hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that each circular clip (3) is formed by a disc (11) with a diameter equal to that of the blind flange (10) and with a plurality of rods (12) , equidistant, forming a circular comb (13) concentric with the blind flange (10) which in turn has a collar of holes (14), where the rods (12) penetrate and slide in and out, , so that they can be around the velcro (2) and slightly apart therefrom and, in this position, attach the hair strand wound on said reel (D ·

A hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that each retractable device (4) is fixed to the inside of the blind flange (10), which has, for that purpose, hollow fittings (15a), where it also passes the actuating rod (15b) of each retractable device (4), which stem is at one end flared (16) and has locking details (17) in two positions, while the opposite end of said actuating rod (15b) is fixed to the corresponding face of the circular clamp 3, so that when pressed, the retractable device 4 is locked while holding the disc 11 against the blind flange 10, and in this position the rods 12) of said circular comb (13) can be around the velcro (2) and slightly away from it and, in this position, fasten the hair strand wound on said reel (D · A hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that each quick coupling (7) is formed by a frustoconical head (18) and a frustoconical seat (19), wherein the first (17) is (19) is integrated into the blind flange (10) and the disc (11), the same combined frustoconical holes (20) being provided in the elbow The blind flange 10 includes housings 21 for engaging two magnetic rings 22 and 23, wherein the first is secured to the blind flange 10, while the other is secured to the smaller diameter side of the head (18).

A hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that, in a simpler construction, the ends of the spool are completely closed, without air intake, there being provided tabs (3) which slide outwards and inside with some interference.

A hair roller according to claim 6, characterized in that a guide rod (24) is provided at one end of the disc (11) and at the opposite end after passing through the flange (10) , has a movement limiter (25).

The hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that in another constructional variation each lug (3) is slightly locked in the closed position by means of magnetic components (26) embedded in the corresponding faces of the blind flange ( 10) and the disc (11) of said tab (3).

A hair roller according to claim 1, characterized in that, in another constructional variation, the spool (1) has air inlet at only one end.
