Abstract

With the present invention, there is developed a protective element (E) suitable for use with at least one mini riser sleeve (1) which comprises a linear cavity (1a) through which a fluid material can be passed for the feeding process, at least one outer wall (1b), at least one base (1c), and at least one opening (1d) located at the base (1c) and providing the cavity (1a) to communicate with the outer environment. Said protective element (E) comprises at least one bottom wall (3) suitable for receiving the base (1c) of the mini riser sleeve (1) and being made of a more flexible material than the mini riser sleeve (1); at least one side wall (4) suitable for receiving the outer wall (1b) of the mini riser sleeve (1) and being made of a more flexible material than the mini riser sleeve (1); at least one aperture (3a) located at said bottom wall (3) and allowing a fluid passage between the opening (1d) and the outer environment.
