Description
The present invention relates to an oven comprising a water tank.
In ovens, the cooking process is generally performed by operating together the heaters and the fan disposed in the oven cavity. The hot air heated by the heaters disposed on the ceiling, the base or the rear wall of the oven cavity is distributed into the oven cavity by means of the fan. In cooking devices that have the steam cooking function, the steam cooking is performed by delivering the steam obtained from the water heated in the steam generator to the cooking chamber. However, the placing of the water tank into the oven that enables water to be delivered to the steam generator and the filling of the water tank by the user create a difficulty.
In the state of the art European Patent Application No. EP1909038, a cooking device is disclosed, comprising a steam generator.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of an oven comprising a water tank with facilitated access.
The oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises an oven cavity wherein the ingredients to be cooked are placed; a body in the form of a box with the front side open that surrounds the oven cavity; a panel that is disposed on the body; a steam generator that is disposed on the body; a water tank that is disposed on the body and that enables water to be delivered to the steam generator by means of a water delivery line, and an opening that is disposed on the panel and that provides access to the water tank.
The oven of the present invention comprises a motor that is disposed on the body and that enables the water tank to be passed through the opening so as to move outwards from the body. When the user desires to add water to the water tank, the water tank is enabled to be taken out by being moved by means of the motor without the need for the user to pull the water tank outwards from the body.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the motor enables the water tank to be moved into the body. After the user fills the water tank, the tank is moved back into the body by means of the motor. Thus, the water tank is enabled to be placed into the body by being moved by means of the motor without the need for the user to push and move the water tank into the body. Leak-proofing between the water tank and the water delivery line is enabled by enabling the water tank to be properly connected to the water delivery line by the movement realized by means of the motor.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises a shaft that is disposed on the motor, and a transmission element that is disposed on the shaft and that enables the water tank to be moved by means of the motor. The transmission element that is rotatably disposed on the shaft that is rotated by means of the motor is rotated by means of the shaft, and thus the movement of the motor is transmitted to the water tank by means of the shaft and the transmission element.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises the eccentric transmission element. By means of the eccentricity, when the transmission element is rotated by activating the motor, the side of the transmission element that is outside the center thereof moves towards the water tank in each turn of the transmission element, thus enabling the water tank to be moved outwards from the body. As the side of the transmission element that is outside the center of the transmission element moves away from the water tank, the water tank is enabled to be pulled into the body. Thus, the forward and backward movement of the water tank is controlled by means of the transmission element.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises a carrier body that is disposed on the body and wherein the water tank is disposed. The carrier body that extends between the panel and the water delivery line guides the movement of the water tank movably disposed therein outwards from the body and into the body.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises at least two opposing supports that are disposed on the side walls of the carrier body and that support the water tank from below. The water tank moves by sliding on the supports, and the water tank is enabled to be held in a balanced manner in the carrier body while moving.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises an upper body that is disposed on the carrier body so as to cover the water tank. The upper body and the carrier body completely surround the water tank, and thus the water tank is enabled to move properly by being guided between the upper body and the carrier body.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises a first sensor that is disposed on the body and that enables the position of the water tank to be detected, and a control unit that enables the motor to be controlled according to the data received from the first sensor. The forward and backward movement of the water tank in the body is controlled by the motor being activated and deactivated by means of the control unit. After the water tank moves at least partially out of the body, the position of the water tank is detected by means of the first sensor, and the control unit deactivates the motor according to the data received from the first sensor and ends the movement of the water tank. When the water tank is moved into the body and the water tank connects to the water delivery line, the position of the water tank is detected by means of the first sensor, and the control unit deactivates the motor according to the data received from the first sensor and ends the movement of the water tank.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises a cover that is disposed over the opening and that has an open position and a closed position; at least one second sensor that is disposed on the body and that enables the open or closed position of the cover to be detected, and the control unit that enables the motor to be controlled according to the data received from the second sensor. The cover completely closes the opening when in the closed position, and enables the user to access the water tank by moving outwards from the opening when brought to the open position. In this embodiment, the second sensor detects the position of the cover, and the movement of the water tank is prevented by means of the control unit when the cover is in the closed position, thus preventing the water tank from hitting the cover. After the cover is brought into the open position, the control unit activates the motor and enables the water tank to be moved.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the oven comprises a button that is disposed on the panel, and the control unit that enables the motor to be activated when the button is actuated. The user can control the movement of the water tank outwards from the body and into the body by means of the button.
By means of the present invention, the water tank disposed inside the oven is enabled to be moved outwards from the body by means of the motor, and thus the user is enabled to more easily access the water tank.
