Abstract
A method for manufacturing a weight plate having a fixed weight for a dumbbell comprises: performing, by means of a machine, cutting on waste iron scraps to obtain substantially uniform waste iron scraps; forming an iron plate by placing a specified weight of iron scraps in an iron plate mold and compressing the same; performing high frequency heating on the iron plate; and placing the iron plate in a forming mold, and compressing the same. The method uses waste iron scraps as a raw material, thereby lowering production costs, greatly reducing energy consumption, improving production efficiency, and ensuring sufficient rigidity of a product. The method is also applicable to manufacturing of a solid metal weight plate for a dumbbell.
