Abstract
The present invention relates to a device and a method for attaching an item of technical equipment to the floor of the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. According to the invention, the attachment device is characterized in that it comprises first and second series of teeth in the form of hooks (6, 7) rigidly attached to the item of technical equipment (1) and the crossmember (3) respectively, and able to interlock, a side rail (4) of the floor (2) constituting a stop, in the direction transverse to the side rail (4), for a second side (1c) of the item of technical equipment (1) in order to position the interlocked teeth (6, 7), and a lug (9) rigidly attached to a third side (1d) of the item of technical equipment (1) in order to attach the item of technical equipment (1) to the floor (2) by means of a fastening screw (10).
